I needed something BIG to scoop & hold around 5 days worth of Great Dane poops in between grass cuttings. It’s convenient to not have to empty it then attach another bag. If it’s been more than 5 days, then I need 2 bags.The bags from DOOTIE bags fit perfectly, and are strong/don’t tear.I love how the rake fits IN the scooper so you can pack the poop down in order scoop up more. It’s amazing how much can fit in this thing!My rake did break, but it was my fault. I was raking in some crazy weeds where the teeth of the rake got stuck. Deep down I knew I was being too rough on the rake. It was hot, and I was in a hurry and kept raking anyway. (It was tangled in tough weeds, and I should have stopped to untangle.) I just ordered another set.Since I’ll soon have 2 bins, I’ll start strapping bags on each one at the same time, so that one bin is always ready to go!Considering the size and price, this set really can’t be beat! & it scoops and holds really well!! It’s really convenient!

This item arrived swiftly. It was super easy to assemble. We've been using for a couple of months on concrete and grass. We have 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large dog. We find that the ability to use grocery bags very convenient. They attach easily to the bin. The swivel bin works very well, no matter the size of the deposit. The rake however is not very sturdy, feels cheap and like it will break without much effort. It bends and flexes and comes unscrewed. The plastic parts just don't feel like quality. The snap hook to keep the rake and bin together feels stronger and better quality than the rake.

I have purchased several poop scoops over the last year. Many of them just break or don’t do a very good job at scooping the poop. Non of them had a bucket either so I’d have to scoop and then dump into a bag. I love this thing. It makes scooping poop for three dogs soo easy. I scoop daily for three dogs and only have to change out the bag in it once a week. It holds a lot. The bags are easy to put on and take off bucket and I love the fact it came with so many extras. When I run out I can purchase more or even just use a grocery bag. The rake that came with this one is the best I’ve seen. Before with one’s I’ve had the rake would just get tons of poop all over it and they would leave tons on the ground. With this one the poop can be easily rolled right into bucket. I’m very happy with this purchase and will purchase in future again if need be!

The poop scoop works but the handle is only about three feet long so still expect to need to bend over a little. It’s just cheap plastic, not sure why people are raving about the sturdiness but it’s my first such product so maybe others are even cheaper. The handle is in three screw together pieces that don’t seem to lock in that tightly so you’ll have to tighten the handle up occasionally. The rake has wide space between prongs so small poop bits get stuck in it. Assume you’ll get poop on the bad and make sure the handles to tie is are on the sides not the bottom. I read in reviews that it held the bag in with 4 hooks but this is not the case. Only one on each side. There are two per side in case your bag has different handle lengths but there is no top or bottom hook to keep the bag from moving. I won’t return it because it now has my dogs poop on it but I will buy a cheaper one next time if this one breaks because I just don’t see the quality being worth the price.

This is exactly what I was looking for. In 2016 I bought an A and H brand scooper similar to this one, but much smaller capacity. A few months ago it finally broke so I thought I'd try the Hygena Scoop. That one only lasted a couple of weeks before it started to squeek every time I'd move it down in to scoop position. On top of that it came with proprietary bags, but even the bags didn't stay in the bin well enough. So I went on the hunt for something like the A and H brand but larger, and this is it. It fits a normal grocery bag (they send 20 bags but I tried out a regular one before using theirs). The bin has 2 different depth bag handle holders on each side so depending on the bag size you can get it to fit very nicely in the bin. The scoop is sturdier and easier to handle than the metal rake that came with the Hygena Scoop. I ended up throwing away the Hygena Scoop because who returns a used pooper scooper (lol). By the way, if you are unable to get plastic grocery bags from the store anymore due to bag bans, you can buy a large amount of them here on Amazon.

So, usually I wat a few days and test a product before writing a review, but I don't think I need to this time. I board dogs in my home, as well as having 6 small ones of my own, and this thing is as close to perfect as I have found. It's made of heavy plastic, which holds up better and is easier to clean. It uses regular grocery bags, you know the ones, you have a bag filled with these somewhere in your house... They fit on the device so well that no doody touches the device, only the rake. Those bags tie closed easily, and I can put it straight into my big outdoor bin with lid. Not sure about the smell in the summer yet, but if that is a problem I will update this review.
