I read book one quite some time ago…fell in love with the Black brothers but neglected to finish the duet until today. I’m glad I finally stepped it up because in true Geissinger fashion, I am not disappointed.Following Killian this time around, we find he’s finally met his match with none other than his rival’s daughter…ahem, estranged daughter. A lowly and highly intelligent thief, who wants everything and nothing to do with Killian Black. Or is it Liam? One will never know because after all, one has to know that more than one Black even exists…and since FBI level research comes up empty, all that’s left is trust.But can you really trust a gangster? Find out in this sexy, sassy, second half to a steamy and suspense filled duet. Don’t waste time like I did, you’ll be glad you didn’t wait.

As soon as I finished the first book, I had to read this one. This is the story of Killian and Jules. He’s the twin brother of Liam from the first book and falls just as hard for the girl as his brother did. Jules has a mafia father and tries so hard not to fall for Killian but as she realizes he’s not like her father, the emotional walls start crumbling. These books are so good and pull you in so quickly that I just love them.

Killian was all male! Juliet his downfall!Lots of humor! Juliet's childhood was filled with tragedy and when her mother was killed she was able to break free of the Mafia. When she meets Killian and discovered he is the head of the Mafia, she tries to keep her distance. Killian however is not what he seems. I kept cheering him on to win Juliet and the ending was just the best, I had such a smile on my face for them!

Aye! Heartfelt and "loin felt" 🐈 hugs of gratitude to the thrillingly imaginative J.T. Geissinger for creating two of the hottest leading males ever written about. WOW! Both Tru and Juliet could make being unapologetically outspoken and sassy women an Olympic sport. Each couple's story had me tearing through to reach the final climax, which only left me wanting more. Yes, please; MORE!

I was looking forward to Killian's story. I really enjoyed this story, but I do wish Juliet's resolve had melted away throughout the book instead of her being a brick wall for most of the book. I prefer when bricks are slowly moved one by one as opposed to a wrecking ball destroying the wall in one fell swoop.With that being said, their story was engaging and full of tension. I especially enjoyed when Killian saved Juliet at the end. You knew it was coming and just couldn't wait until he got to her.

Loved all the dialogues: between the girls, between the brothers, between Declan and Killian, between him and Julliet. Incredible writing! It's not a question about who J.T. Geissinger is, it's about what she is: a super talented author.

Owwww meu Deus o que são esses irmãos gêmeos Liam e Killian fucking Black.... que homens mais deliciosos, intensos, apaixonantes... são machos alfas maravilhosos, escuros, possessivos mas com o coração enorme para suas mocinhas....amei essa série com esses 2 livros...uma história um pouco diferente da máfia que conhecemos, mas que amei ler... não queria que terminasse!!!A química, tensão sexual entre os protagonistas dos 2 livros é uma coisa que transcende o livro e faz arrepiar a pele...livro bom é assim, que te faz sentir tudo, te queimar por inteira...Não sei qual é o meu preferido dos gêmeos, pois ambos estão guardados numa caixinha dentro do meu coração para sempre!!! Já estão no ranking de meus top fives rsrsrsQuanto as mocinhas, eu gostei mais da Tru, pq Juliet foi muito irritante a maior parte do livro, embora eu entenda as reservas dela, tinha momentos que queria voar no pescoço dela e torcer kkkkk meu coração fica em pedaços pelo Killian...mas depois eu adorei ver os 2 juntos para valer!!!!!Agora tem 2 personagens masculinos Declan e Diego que queria muito ler um livro para cada... personagens misteriosos, fortes e intensos...os livros com certeza iam faiscar rsrsrs

Omg this book has everything to be perfect but I hate Juliet. Really. She is so dum and only stops being dum in the very end. Killian is so sweet and he didn’t deserve that

Die Geschichte fängt witzig an und tatsächlich gefiel mir Killian zu Beginn noch besser als Liam. Dann wird es allerdings ziemlich zäh und teilweise auch wirklich ärgerlich.
