I bought cheaper pellets last time and now am securely back with Ooni. They burn slower and the smell is far superior. The ‘cheaper’ ones burnt quicker so on balance the value is the same. In fact, Ooni is better as you don’t have to top up the chimney as often. With the cheaper ones I sometimes left it too long and lost the flame. Ooni every time.

no se os ocurra usar pellets de estufa. Yo lo probé para asegurarme y no sirven para cocinar: dejan un olor asqueroso, hacen un humo muy negro, queman muy rapido y no alcanzan temperaturas tan altas. Estos son aptos para cocinar, tardan en arder y a penas dejan polvo

J'utilise habituellement des pellets pour poêle à pellets pour mon four Unni 3 (3.90€ le sac de 15Kg).Déçu par le gout prononcé de fumage, j'ai opté pour ces pellets "alimentaires".Aucune différence, ni de température, ni de gout :)Je vais donc finir le paquet et repartir sur mes pellets habituels, bien moins chers.Emballage avec ziplock, très pratique pour refermer sans que l'humidité rentre ! bon produit sinon !
