Long-lasting for Low Movement Gaps, Measure Carefully
Well, it's been 12 years, so I think it's time to say if this item works or not, haha. This Duck foam weatherstrip seal works as intended. I used it around my front door, which had a gap about 5/16" from the door frame, so that is the thickness I bought. I found that the width didn't matter in my case, because the tape was going to be more narrow than my door no matter what. I can tell you that this stuff works. You used to be able to feel the cold air blowing in through those cracks and now it doesn't, and the tape has stayed on for over a decade!!!Full disclosure, I only open this door about 2-3x a week and I live in the northeast, so it's not particularly hot. I don't know if the tape will hold up in places that regularly get 100 degree summers, or if you keep opening and closing the taped area. Also you need to measure carefully. If your gap is smaller than 5/16", you can squish this foam in that crack, but it will be a pain to open and close. If you buy something too thin for your gap, then there will be a draft anyway. So you have to measure just right. I measured accurately and you can see in one of my photos how it completely seals between the door and the frame perfectly. My door is every so slightly crooked, so where the distance was smaller than 5/16" got a lot of friction when opening and closing the door, so you can see in the other photo where the tape doesn't stick anymore and kind of broke off, flopping around. But that is the only section where that happened, the rest has stayed intact all this time.Just buy this stuff and take a chance like I did, if it doesn't work for you, then you are only out a few dollars. I have saved so much money on heating and cooling costs over the years, was totally worth the small gamble to see if it would work. Have spent my money on much more worse purchases here. 😂

Works great for light/sound proofing!
Works great for light/sound proofing! First of all the adhesive will fail after a couple months but that is to be expected, this stuff is cheap and does the job! I am an aspiring YouTuber and after outlining my door with this stuff I see ZERO light bleed and I barely hear any sound especially when I put a curtain in and outside my room to cover the door. I would definitely recommend this to peeps making a bedroom recording studio! Thanks!

Works great! No more draft
This worked great at replacing the seal around my front door. The medium size with two rolls was enough for the three edges of the door plus a little left over.Getting the old foam seal off was DIFFICULT! You can try using a hair dryer to heat the adhesive (be sure to move it around so that it does not leave brown burn marks). As it is heating, use something like a credit card to shove between the frame and the tape to loosen the adhesive. I found out the hard way that mine continues at a 90 degree angle into another crack, so I used some needle nose pliers, got a corner up, and pulled as hard as I could. And it finally came off!Make sure that you clean the surface and let it dry before applying the new tape. The seal is easy to install and very easy to cut. I was worried that it might not be thick enough but it was perfect. I cannot feel any drafts coming through the door anymore. Works great!Something I did not think about is the fact that the seal is black, where my frame is beige, so it is rather obvious but only when the door is open. If this matters to you, you may want to find one that is the same color as the door frame.

Ripoff
They don’t stick to the windows after a day or two. I did everything that was required to keep out drafts. Have to continually stick them back on surface. A waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I wish the adhesive was better
I mean, it is fine, but I have had to use additional adhesive in spots
