I’m so happy I found Gluten free gochujang! No stores near me sell the Gluten free version, so having this available through Amazon is wonderful! Great sweet and spicy flavor! Perfect on everything!

A uniquely tasting hot sauce - somewhat reminiscent of miso or soy sauce but hot, it's definitely a cousin to that flavor family but its own thing. I often use it to make quick soups with vegetables and fish filets, I dissolve it when it's about done, just like you would miso at the end, also sometimes I add Sichuan chili crisp oil when I'm in the mood for extra heat. I also discovered on accident that it goes surprisingly well with liver, either chicken or beef. Just slather it on to taste when cooked. That was such a welcome discovery, since beside onion and similar vegetables, it can be challenging to spice liver (partly why a lot of people don't really like eating it). I usually salt and serve it with a lot of caramelized sauteed onions to balance the bitterness out with the sweetness from the onion and add a slight bit of pungency, maybe a dash of garlic powder. Leek, chives and the like work with it too, but the sweeter it is, the better. However, this is a totally new way to eat it, at least for me, and I'm hooked. I am sensitive to gluten, so gochujang typically being naturally gluten free is such a nice bonus, as I now have to chase every sauce gluten free. I am saddened to read that maltodextrin seems to be added into this product recently. I tried another brand that was hotter (even though it said mild), I loved the other one too, they're both good; even so, this one is my preferred flavor. If you don't have issues with gluten, this is the nicer flavor imo, it's so addictive. But I also like that differences among brands don't seem to be huge. Altogether, if you haven't tried this sauce yet, you definitely should.

Great option if you do not have a nearby Asian mall. For the price, I do recommend going there first. The product came in good condition with no defects or shipment damage. Came in sealed. Normal size container of gonchujang. The paste tasted sweet and salty, per the norm for Gochujang. Elevated every dish. Great in ramen and sir fry, and hot pots.

This tub is going to last me forever! Fortunately, the container and ingredients are shelf stable because this would never fit in my fridge! Great value for the price and an amazing flavor bomb for a variety of dishes!

Siempre lo compro. Me gusta mucho para sazonar platos y hacer kimchi coreano. El bote es bastante grande así que me dura unos meses.

Not entirely sure what other customers were expecting when they ordered this and then give it a poor review. It has a delicious smoky yet spicy taste. Not too hot. It is versatile and can be used in Korean curries, as a marinade, in soup and even as a flavouring in sourdough bread or focaccia. Excellent in my view.

Has a great, deep flavour with the spice kick at the end, all over a good Gochujang.
