I spread my dog's favorite toothpaste in the groive and her teeth are cleaned much better than the other popular brand I've used. These are pricey but my dog gets her teeth cleaned with two agents, the action of the dental chew itself and her toothpaste. It takes about 3 minutes for her to chomp it down, she's 20lbs, and that is enough chewing to get the toothpaste all over her teeth and areas she won't let me get to. None of the ingredients seem to be an issue for her and she likes the flavor with or without her toothpaste.

The media could not be loaded. My dogs have been loving these dental chews for a little over a year now. This order is for the dental sticks only. To work effectively you have to order the enzyme toothpaste but it goes a long way, in fact I think two bags of chews last for one tube of past. These are excellent and they love the taste. My 2 year old dogs still has bright teeth after using these, while my 7 year old dog has cleaner teeth. She will still need to have a scraping due to her age but her overall teeth health has much improved! The instructions on the website are as is: Fill one line of past in each stick and HOLD THE STICKS AS YOUR DOG CHEWS ON THEM OR THEY WILL INHALE THEM. The whole point is to make them chew on each side of their mouth. Pro tip: if you have an excited dog, make sure to tuck your fingers back the way you do when cutting food, to ensure your dog does not bite down on your finger.

I bought the medium which is larger than my dog's size but she is a chewer, these wouldn't last for a teacup yorkie, they're horrible, my frienchie took 2 bites and it was gone, so much for chewing to help clean her teeth, it's outrageous how expensive these are for what you get and now when I try to return them it says this item is non returnable, what? They were prime and I am extremely dissatisfied. Will be contacting Amazon about this. These "chews" are junk, don't waste you money.

I had a subscription with barkbright and really thought these products worked well with my dog and started using Amazon to purchase for about the same price. With the toothpaste. These really do a good job of keeping the dog's teeth clean and breast smelling fresher.

The grooves could be wider to make putting toothpaste on them easier.

I wish they were harder as my dog destroyed them. But they were pretty good overall. Some did come broken.

I am sure it is a great product, but found my pup biting at his feet days after giving him the dental chews. I learned my pup is allergic to chicken. My pup stopped biting at his feet when I stopped the dental treats. I think he ate maybe 4 of the chews. Dogs do seem to gave an allergy to chicken so be cautious in giving this dental chew to your pup.
