Ended up cracking
This is exactly what I was looking for. I haven't used it much yet so I am unable to rate the longevity of this board. But size and look wise this is exactly what I had wanted. So far I am very happy with my purchase and it wasn't expensive. I purchased mine "like new" it came sealed a a bag and then still had the original plastic wrap and logo on it also.Updated:11/24/20 I have never washed in dishwasher. I have always dryed off quickly after washing off. It has been used a handful of times over a few months. It has split right down the middle. It has never been dropped or mishandled. I love the size of this. But my old wooden board lasted years and never had any issues.

Strong, lightweight, and attractive
This bamboo cutting board is the perfect size for chopping one large veggie at a time, and light enough to lift with one hand to scrape into your salad bowl or cooking pot with the other hand. I have a much larger (12x18), thicker, hardwood board, but it requires two hands to maneuver. I am finding this board much easier to use.The surface has a noticeable grain, which feels as if it might splinter, but it hasn't. In fact, it's quite strong and so far has stood up to chopping for four meals without a mark. I even pounded nine chicken cutlets on it (three at a time) on waxed paper.I washed it, wiped it dry, and oiled it with coconut oil, which is antibacterial and anti-fungal. (Coconut oil is edible. It hardens in a cool room, like lard, but my kitchen is warm, so it stays as liquid as olive oil.) It sank into the board and brought out the color nicely.If you do a lot of slicing and dicing, try it out! It also makes an attractive cheese board.

Durable
I bought this in august 2018. It has been with us for 2 moves and up until earlier this month (January 2022), it was going strong. And actually, it can still be used as only a small piece of it broke off. But, almost 4 years old and going strong means it is still a damn good product. Would buy and am buying again.

Cracked after first use
This cutting board arrived looking beautiful, but developed a crack right down the middle after the first use. I sliced a single tomato and wiped off the liquid immediately afterwards, but that little bit of moisture was too much for this cutting board. Photos show it after about 4 very light uses, starting to develop a second crack above the logo.Maybe it works well for bread, but not for general purpose use. Big disappointment!

Worked great - Until it cracked
Works great and is lightweight.Update 12/6/2017: One day after leaving a five star review the board cracked! I have had the board less than 2 months. Another bamboo cutting board I have had for five years has not cracked with similar use, so I am adjusting my review from 5 stars to 1.Update 04/14/2018: My girlfriend purchased two of these last year and one has recently developed multiple large cracks and had to be discarded. Two out of three failures in such a short time is a bad sign.

Molds easily. Would have been perfect.
Good board. The juice channel is a good concept, but like others have said, it develops mold easily. I’ve only had this for a few months. I’ve had other bamboo cutting boards for 3+ years without issues.Update: Seller was responsive in resolving the issue without hassles. So, an extra star in review for that.

My favorite cutting board
I have bought this board for myself and for several relatives and friends as a gift. Everyone loves it. And I can safely say that after using it for 2 years, mine has consistently resisted mildew and staining and still looks great. It does benefit from being rubbed with canola oil every 6 months or so, which brings out the richness in the darker tones, and also helps it to resist stains from berries and smells from onions.

Love this little cutting board
Love this little cutting board! It can get dried out if you don't buy oil to go with it (I purchased "Food Grade Mineral Oil for Cutting Boards, Countertops and Butcher Blocks - Food Safe and Made in the USA") so I recommend purchasing the oil. This board was a perfect addition to go with our larger cutting board and is very handy. Also, it is small but not super small - it is still very practical!
