My kids cannot eat modern wheat without significant reactions, but they are able to tolerate einkorn in moderation. We love the jovial einkorn pasta because it is consistently high quality, and the whole family can enjoy the same pasta. We normally get the whole grain pasta, but this time I ordered this traditional pasta for mac & cheese. We were very happy with it! NOTE: This is NOT whole wheat pasta. This is traditional "white" pasta. Jovial does make whole wheat einkorn pasta, but this is not it. The item title is a little misleading.

Recently, I have become an ardent fan of Jovial Einkorn products. Although I have ground einkorn berries myself, I can't seem to get my final product as fine as the Jovial flour. This pasta is superb and likely made with the Jovial fine ground flour. It is important to fully rinse and drain the pasta before consuming. If you rinse and drain it into a container, you will see the abundance of starch that comes out of the pasta during boiling. As with all Jovial products, this pasta is very pricey.

Bought these 2 times from Amazon, they must be old stock because they fell apart while cooking

I bought this to try due to have a wheat intolerance. I thought that maybe, since it isn't a GMO or hybridized product, that my stomach may like it better. This pasta take a little more time to cook, but tasted very much like any other pasta. My picky eaters couldn't tell a difference (other than the color).

I’ve been buying this brand for several years and today was the first time I had a poor quality product. The pasta was falling apart and crumbling before cooking. After cooking, it was crumbling and a mess. Super disappointed as I know that is not the norm for Jovial and I’m wondering if this was caused by damage during storage or defected product being resold.

I love pasta but I hate regular whole grain or any of the gluten free. I thought I would have to choose between suffering with regular pasta or going pasta free. This pasta is really GREAT! I made it last night for the first time and it was Oh, so good. If you are gluten sensitive give this a try. It does not have the strong taste of whole grain pasta and it has more body then the gluten free. I am going to try it in a pasta salad. I think it will work fine. Give this a try, I think you will be pleased.
