Playmobil 70578 JAMES BOND ASTON MARTIN DB5 - GOLDFINGER EDITION, For James Bond fans, collectors and children aged 5-99

It's a work of art. I took a risk buying this for my 5 year old nephew who was a big LEGO fan, but never played with Playmobil before. He loved it. A great Christmas gift. Easy to assemble, unlike the LEGO equivalent. Too be honest it looks to good to be a child's toy, I'm tempted to buy one for me, but noticed the price went up, I got it for just under £30. Only negative comments, Bond doesn't have a gun and Odd Job can't hold his bowler hat, the light covers for the car's front machine guns might get lost. However, I'm nit picking, the ejector seat is brilliant, my 5 year old Nephew worked out how to set it up easily. His most played with toy this Christmas. He hasn't even opened the backup LEGO Ferrari that I brought! The Aston Martin box is quite a lot bigger than expected, you get a lot of toy for your money.

Brilliant depiction of the 007 DB5. Well worth the money. Has all the features expected, ejector seat, wheel hub spinners, changeable number plates,bullet proof shield and also Goldfinger, Odd job, korean henchman and of course Mr 007 himself. I'm one of the older kids buying this for myself(60) and I'm so pleased with it as a display item. Suppose the only way this could be bettered is if someone produced the lifelike figures to replace the "cutesy playmobil characters". Also check out Ghostbusters Ecto 1A.

Quite impressed with the quality used it to cover old fence looks good

Playmobil have been smashing it in recent years and this fine beauty it’s alongside their Ecto 1 and Delorian versions of equal standing and on a par with Lego versions for quality and fun. Son loves them. Yes this is expensive but the real kit car version is over £3m and you can’t take that on the roads. This one at least has a working ejector seat for those pesky passenger seat drivers……

The DB-5 is an awesome toy, my kid loves it. Playmobil we want the Lotus submarine too!!!

Very cool piece- came well packed

I bought this for my 5-year-old son when it was on sale, and it has become one of his favorite toys. He loves setting up scenarios where James Bond foils the bad guys by ejecting them from the car and escaping with the gold bars. After a year of rough play, the car has held up extremely well—typical Playmobil quality. Only one of the chrome mirrors has broken. It’s a great toy overall: nostalgic for parents, and a fun, quirky car with plenty of surprises for kids.
