Yatoshi 9 Piece Block Set - Pro Kitchen Knife Set Ultra Sharp High Carbon Steel with Ergonomic Handle

We finally decided to invest into good quality knife set and wow we are so happy and satisfied with these. We love how easy it was to cut into our delicata squash and how fast it was to chop cilantro. Also, the bread knife really blew me away! It gave me beautiful homemade bread slices.

I have had this knife set for a while and waited to review to see how they have held up! My finding is that they have held up GREAT! They are very pretty and very sharp still. I do not recommend placing them in the dish washer as I have hand washed and dried every time. I get compliments on them every time someone is over and I use them!

I chose these because of the type of steel they are made out of (7cr17 stainless) and because they were on a lightning deal. They’re sharp and I like the the way the round handles feel in my hand far more than my old cheapo set. I like the knives that the 7 piece set comes with, and the block is nice. Time will tell how they hold an edge but I have high hopes and I have a sharpener for when that fails.My only complaint is the purely cosmetic “damascus” pattern that is laser etched into the blades. It’s ugly and I would much prefer a plain steel knife. Of course I knew it had this pattern when I chose them (like I said, lightning deal), so I’m not complaining too hard.Overall I’m pretty happy with the purchase.

Update. I returned these knives at my local kohl’s and check to make sure the refund came through on my prime credit card only to see this company charged me again for the knives. Seems like a scam of a company. Charge people twice after they refund hoping they don’t notice so you still get paid? I recommend anyone who has purchased these to check your credit card statement for duplicate charges. They charged me when I placed the order and charged me again when they shipped. My bank is currently disputing.Everything else was wrapped brand new in plastic you had to cut off except the scissors. The box had puncture holes at the top and was already bent open. Scissors had dried orange food particles on them and are so dirty and rusty feeling when you open and close. The black handle is full of gouges and scratches. For the amount of money I spent and the quality of knives I’m so confused about these scissors. They feel / look like they came from the dollar store. I’m convinced a returned pair was thrown in my box with my order. I also expected them to have some weight to them but they feel like hollow cheap plastic. My Walmart knife block came with better scissors and that set was $30…. No idea what happened here.

Great set of knives. I gave as a gift and not only did the receipt ent love it everyone there had to get a good look. The knives balance perfectly in your hand when held. Very sharp and really cool looking

These are great knives. They lose their edge pretty quickly, but they take an edge easily as well.

The knives were sharp and pretty. But used one knife once and it started to rust. For the price it should be better quality than my cheap knife set. Giving 3 stars because they were sharp sharp but the rust stains after one use makes it a no for me.

These knives are super sharp, very nice looking, and they get the job done.
