Hours of play
Bought this for my little lad for Christmas. He's had kinetic sand sets before so knew he'd like it but I didn't realise how much he would. He loves the adventure elements, finding the key and the jewels, playing physically with sand ( I put the set in an IKEA flisat bin so he stays contained) and he pretends the instruction leaflet is a treasure map he has to follow to find the treasure chest. I just wish there were more sets like this ( his sister had the mermaid one). We got it on offer and it was worth every penny.

Cute, but messy
This is a lovely little set, but the treasure chest is and filled to the brim with sand so it goes everywhere. Lovely though! I'd advise getting a little tub for it to go in. We've had to take one from another set she's got.

What a fabulous set from Kinetic Sand. My son loves digging around looking for pirate treasure. I can't lie, I enjoy it too. So easy to clean up.

Perfect gift
I bought this for my son for Christmas, he’s 4.5yrs. He absolutely loved it and it’s kept him really busy. Great quality product that can be used over and over again. He loved the secret jewels in the compartment underneath!!

Keeps little ones occupied
I purchased this for my little girls 3rd birthday as she loves anything pirate related. She adores burying the 5 little gems that are included and digging them back out again.I’ve given 4 stars as though I rate it highly for its ability to keep my child occupied and encourages her to use her imagination, it’s very difficult to open in the first place! There is a key stored in the sharks mouth at the top of the chest. You insert it until the key hole and have to position it correctly to be able to open the chest. You don’t turn it, you just sort of have to wiggle it in and out until you’re successful. It’s impossible for my 3 year old to do this on her own and frustrating even for me as an adult.
