Hobonichi 2022 Notebook Unit, Cousin Avec (Starts on January) [Starting on Monday, Minute Edition (Before and Late Set)] A5 Size

Although it was in Japanese, this is the best planner I have used so far. As someone who doesn’t want to have dozens of planners, this is a one stop shop! Although it’s only September, it’s pretty beat up without a cover so I did get one for my 2023 HoBoCo. Some pens take a long time to dry but the Muji and Sarasa clip work great!

I purchased this particular planner after reading reviews and watching YouTube videos on various planners. I absolutely love the thin paper and the compact size of this book. You can use only pens and markers or you can add sticker kits to decorate the weeks, the months, or the daily pages. I use this planner for personal and work, to track tasks like a bullet journal as well as track my calendar, meetings, and special events. I loved this book so much I bought the hobonichi weeks to keep at home to jot down tasks and appointments as well.

I usually don't write a review. But I find myself needing to do so for this produce. I have used Happy Planner for years. Last year and entering into this new year I did not have planner's peace. I found myself overwhelmed by the multiple planners from Happy Planner. I kept seeing Instagram post about Hobonichi planners. So, I ordered one to try it. It has been amazing. I can put everything into one planner. I love the pages. It works well with my fountain pen. I loved it so much I ordered the Hobonichi weeks for my bible reading and prayers. I highly recommend. I also ordered the Moterm cover and it is amazingly soft and durable. It is worth my money. I will continue to buy hobonichi.

Love hobonichi but hate their packaging. This item is way too expensive for it to be damaged. Considering sending it back.

I absolutely love Hobonichi planners and have used them for several years. Monthly, weekly, and daily spreads - all in one - ready for decorating and planning! Unfortunately, Amazon neglected to package them appropriately so they arrived with the bottom corners crumpled.UPDATE: Even though I had received this item over 50 days ago, I had not opened its own packaging until December 8. I requested a replacement and it arrived less than 48 hour later and the return was dropped at my UPS store 2 mi away. Easy-peazy. So happy - thank you Amazon!

Been using it since January. Stopped around April because using washi tape and stickers and the binding is coming apart. Disappointed because Ive been wanting a hobonichi for last couple years.

The Good: I love the layout of the planner. The grid is small which works for me as I write small and write ALOT. I just use a sticky note to mark my place so I can get to it quickly. The moon phase is a nice touch as well. Also, this planner does lay pretty much flat. And it stays open without having to use anything to weigh them down.The Disappointment: really for me the disappointment comes from the paper quality. It’s extremely thin and all of the pens I have tried either bleed or show right through. And forget about using a high lighter! It completely smears the writing. I have tried gel, felt tip, ball point and various sizes of each. You can read what you wrote on the other side which drives me crazy. When I flip the page I want it to be crisp and clean! That’s part of the fun! Even a pencil really didn’t work because the paper is so shiny that if your not looking at it straight on, the glare makes it hard to see the pencil marks.I’m really sad because I was so excited to have a planner I could use for work. Also, I don’t think the cover would hold up for long without buying one of their special cases. Which is a lot of money seeing as you have to shell out 50+ dollars on the planner alone.Unfortunately, this planner is just not for me. Next, I think I will try to make my own planner out of my favorite dotted notebook from Lemome.

I love the Hobonichi planners. The cousin has a monthly, weekly and a daily section which I love.
