Great value
Sounds great for small Concert bass drum. I usually use Remo brand, but this was $20 cheaper so I thought I’d give Evans a try and it sounds fine.

Drum head of the class
These are great heads for the classic sound...a little pricey, but these are petroleum based products so that's part of it. Great quality

Very nice front bass drum head for a tight punchy warm sound.
Wow, i put this head on front of a shallow 20 bass drum. It tuned up tighter than I though it would but certainly has a nice, round, warm bass drum sound. I can recommend this for a front kick head with no hole if that is the sound you are looking for. Nice drum head.

Great punch in a simulated calfskin head. Love it?
Even though these Calftone heads are designed to emulate the old calfskin heads from the past for playing jazz, I put this on a 22” bass drum that gave me that low pitched “hit them in the chest” kind of tone I was looking for. Great sound at a great price! Rock on!

Nice looking on a natural kit. Sounds nice, had a stand out tone that you wont find in most newer heads.
