super high quality, bright colors
these markers are amazing. it takes a little while to get them started as you need to repeatedly press the tip down and shake them vertically to get the ink flowing. but once it does, you'll love it. the colors are super vibrant, it's a solid size, i will most likely get these markers again when my current ones run out.

Effective
Does dry out a bit so you will have to shake it and press down to let the ink absorb into the tip to write. It comes of opaque but will fade to a sheer color over time. Super easy to remove. I used a paper towel and it came off in one stroke.

Shipping had issues, but not the markers
It took a bit longer to get here than initially stated, but with the holiday rush, it was not overly long or concerning. The markers themselves, work wonderfully on my glass-top desk organizer! Don't know how they'r do on a regular dry-erase board, nut on glass, they are awesome - very bright and vibrant on black! Be sure when you read a review, that you consider how the buyer was trying to use them. And yes, they work like a paint pen, but I have not had any issues since first shaking any pen to get the fluid to mix and start flowing. Make sure to cap when not in use, or YMMV. And cleanup, from the intended glass surface, is a breeze with no filmy residue like some others.

Ideal for Lightboard
If you're using a light board these are the ones to get. Not sure about the 2 whites. I prefer blue myself. The ones that shake allow the ink to flow better. If you shake them very well, which you need to do, they last for a few days before needing to shake them very well again. You need to get the ink flowing. I use these to make professional math videos on a light board. (Look up Berkeley Coding Academy on youtube if you want to see.)

Junk
Absolutely junk. All dried out. Did not work once. No response from support.

A little tricky to use and inconsistent boldness
I haven't used many other similar products, but I feel that these work 'fine'. The white pen is certainly the boldest/most opaque of the entire pack and it writes fairly well. However, I find it quite that this pen runs out of in after only a few strokes and I have to constantly recharge the tip by pumping it in and out. This is annoying because when you do this it will often drip. This might not be a problem if you were using the pen on a horizontal surface, but I write on a glass board on the wall and no matter how I hold the pen the tip will always run out if ink after a few words. When the white pen is working properly, it is nice and thick but it can be annoying to see the text slowly fading throughout the sentence. The 'ink' in all of the color pens is much thinner than the white pen so the tips stay filled longer, but the result is very faint and hard to read on a black glass board. The pink and the green were the only usable color ones. The blue and the yellow were almost impossible to see because the fluid was so transparent. Another issue with the thinner fluid in the color pens is that it practically gushes ink when you charge the tip so be prepared for color to drip everywhere around the board when using these pens. Overall, these pens 'work' to a somewhat desirable effect, but writing with them is far from an enjoyable or smooth process. I'll be trying similar products from other manufacturers to see whether this is an issue in this product or just a reality of writing with liquid chalk markers on vertical glass boards.

I have a very dark and troublesome dry erase surface here at the office. I have purchased dozens of different kinds of markers, none of which have worked. Typically they are too dark or impossible to erase. I am so happy to report that these Quartet dry erase markers are bright, easy to read, and also easy to erase. I am even more happy to report that when one of the markers in my package of six had a defect, Quartet sent me a replacement marker. I was amazed by the integrity of this company. By with confidence!

Absolutely love there they show up so well on my white board and back boards. Would have been 5 stars but unfortunately one of the markers doesn’t work.

These also work well on a dry erase blackboard.

I have been using them for a few weeks and they are very messy. They leave behind a lot of dry, flaky residue. Making a big mess around my desk and keyboard area. Too bad, I do like the bright colours.
