These lights are great. The gamble is a little stiff but did get easer to move over time. Other then the gamble issue they are solid. They have some weight to them. The spring clip that holds the light in the can is stiff. I think is has to be because of the weight. The trim parts are thick metal. They are very bright as well.I gave them the fifth star for price. I would definitely order again.

Good retrofit and LED quality. The rotation is very poor. I had to put white lithium grease around the rim where the gimbal rotated. They stick and do not rotate at all unless you finish doing the work that should have been done in the factory!

Good quality just very bright, a tremendous value but don't underestimate the lumens . Best for a lofted space.

They do not work with dimmer, they only go to lowest dimmer setting when you turn off,,

Bought via EarthLED, but they work through Amazon. I bought two 4 packs, so 8 lights total. Every single one of them had the same flaw. These lights are nice quality overall, and the vertical adjustment of the light is good. BUT, all were mis-designed and defective. To aim these lights horizontally - the gimbal must be able to rotate. They were mis manufactured and the rotation is jammed. I needed two so I had to break pot-metal guide tabs off the gimbal ring- and then spray with LPS in order to allow the light to be rotated. I wrote a detailed description of the problem with picture to EarthLED. Hopefully they get the point. If all you need is a flat or light perpendicular to the can mount clips - this is fine. Great light, seems to be good color and one of the rare 3000k lights. (Not quite yellow and not super "bathroom-Kitchen" bright white (what I call 5k).
