This "summary and analysis" is very poorly written, but more importantly, it has never been touched by an editor or proofreader. It is full of typographical errors, but more importantly, it is full of improper grammatical usages and "malapropisms." I may or may not want to read the full book (which is what I thought I was buying when I bought this - my bad), but this has certainly not moved me toward it..

Could have been so much better.
Did he have an editor?! The prose was stilted and it was easy to get lost. Transitions were nonexistent and there were so many characters to track. Better off just googling info on the two subjects of the book.

Creation/Destruction
The overall message of creation and destruction was consistent throughout the book. The building of the Chicago World's Fair and the murders occurring at the same time was a very interesting approach by the author.

This was a perfect short version with a tom=n of pertinent information
Already read the book years ago. Very very full of information. Need an up date for a book club reading the book now. This was a perfect short version with a tom=n of pertinent information!

Great synopsis of a good book.
Having read the book afterward, this was a good summary of it. But reading the book is much better.
