These mugs are just right for us. Although we don't fill it to the top with coffee or tea, the mug allows for slosh room which is a plus for my husband who previously left little coffee splats on the floor. But the perfect part of this mug is its ability to keep the drink hot, allows for a little warmth to be felt on the outside which is a comfort on a cold day, and it has a lovely fine appearance. The "lip ridge" around the top is just right, and very comfortable. The outer glass and the inside wall thickness is less so than ordinary heavy coffee mugs. These have a light feel to them. Another feature that one can appreciate is the fact that the bottom of the mug is flat, thereby unable to collect water. If I meet with any breakage, I will order another as these are Super.

When I first opened the box I was disappointed by this mug. It felt so light that I was questioning if it was actually glass, because it's as light as plastic. It looked and felt like a toy. But after tapping my nails on it and finding that it does at least SOUND like glass, I gave it a try. I poured myself a cup of tea. The mug was great. It was easy to hold without getting too hot, held a good amount of tea, and wasn't too heavy to hold while tired. It quickly became my favorite mug!

I thought I would like these mugs. I purchased two of them at the end of July. Both have broken while hand washing them with a sponge. One broke a few weeks ago and the second broke yesterday. They both broke inside. I am very disappointed with the quality of the product.

Broke the next day. I will just say, this item is not dishwasher safe. Found that out the hard way. Shattered into pieces. Very sad because it was a nice looking mug. My coffee looked great on but it broke too soon. Needs to be more durable glass

Great size and design. Keeps drink hot. Much better than our Bodum glass mugs.We are having a problem with a mug now. There is a link between the glass layers.

Very nice mugs! We really like the appearance and the fact that they keep liquids hot. Unfortunately one of the four mugs we purchased has sprung a leak between the two glass layers. The inside glass is intact, but the "plug" that seals the mug on the bottom appears to have fallen out allowing water to enter between the two glass layers. I wonder if there is a way to reseal the small round opening about thoroughly drying the glass?

I received one of these as a gift 2 years ago and it became my favorite coffee mug right away. I'm a daily coffee drinker and used this thing almost every time! I mostly hand washed it, but it did make it into the dishwasher a few dozen times with no problems. I recently reheated coffee in it in the microwave a few times, which is probably what led to its eventual demise in collecting a small bit of water in between the layers. My fault, I knew better. The mug was still perfectly useable, but the water dripping out of the bottom bugged me enough to toss it. Despite not being particularly delicate with this thing, and always using metal spoons in it, it never chipped, cracked, or broke... Until the slightest bit on the outer bottom at the end. Now that I've been using a regular coffee mug (to my dismay) for about a week I've realized how much better the glass one did with keep drinks insolated! I've been browsing other ones and have noticed all the reviews about breaking, being poorly formed, etc with other, cheaper brands.I loved this thing so much I'm willing to spring the $30 for another one instead of paying $25 for a set of 2 crappy ones elsewhere.It's worth it. This mug is sturdy and seamlessly made! Treat it half way nicely (and avoid the microwave) and it'll be a beloved part of your morning routine for years to come.

I love this cup. I originally bought this for my sister for Christmas but when it came and I opened, I had to get me one! It doesn't get too hot to the touch and just looks so elegant. I love it specifically for my teas because I add supplements to them, and this way I can make sure the powdered supplements I add are dissolved all the way before I start drinking. I will say though, it doesn't feel like glass. It feels more like a sturdy plastic -- but when tapping my fingernail against it, I can hear that it's glass, I love it!
