Surfer Magazine: 50 Years Hardcover – July 21, 2010

I've been surfing for almost 35 years now and have always loved the photography in Surfer Magazine. This is a great coffee table book and I'm surprised how many of my non surfer friends pick it up and thumb through it while sitting in my living room. You don't have to surf to appreciate the beautiful pictures and images.

Love The Book, More So The Longboard Sections, I Started Surfing In Santa Barbara CaliforniaIn 1962 And Have and Still Ride Classic Longboard Single Fins. the Photos are Beautiful. and Concise.The Only Draw Back to Me is all The shortboard things as I am a soul Surfer allThe Contest crap means nothing. just wish Surfer would come out with the same from 1960-1967and avoid the abortion of the shortboard.

I purchased this book for my son at Christmas. Very well put together, beautiful pictures, tons of surfing info. He loved it. He doesn't read for pleasure much, so it was great to see him reading this book during his free time. I would reccommned this book to anyone, any age, that is at all into surfing.

The book is beuatiful, photos are well selected. a great book to have on the table in your living room, as long as you are a true soul surfer

After he opened his present, he sat mesmerized reading this book. He's in his 30s and glued to his I-Phone most of the time. This book was more interesting than his phone. I'd give it 100 stars just for that.

The great surfing locations never change. Just the people do. I bought this as a gift for my cousins birthday and he was very excited over it. Spent an hour looking at all the photo's. If you are a surfer you will like.

Enjoyed this book. Pictures and stories were well done. Arrived with plenty of time to give as a Christmas gift.
