First check spider with rotating drum. Second the upper springs. Third the weights on the front for broken bolts and loose weights. Fourth if you can push down on drum with little effort the shocks are bad. Would say anytime working on theses machines for any reason especially for shaking always replace shocks made cheaply by design and not very hard to replace. Remove upper cover and front and change all 4 without removing the rear panel if you have long arms and ratchet wrench. Also A for the front and B to the rear color coded also.

These shock absorbers seemed to be an exact match for our 8 year old Samsung washing machine. The old worn out shocks were very easy to move and popped out of the body very easily. If you'd like to make the new shocks even firmer, I've seen that some people place metal hose clamps on the shock body to tighten up the dampening. I also replaced the spider arm assembly and both bearings to resolve the high speed spin cycle issue where the machine would repeatedly change from 9 minutes left to 13 minutes left. So far all of my effort and the expense seems to have been worth it. The washer is able to complete a high speed spin cycle for most loads. It still has an issue balancing a large load of towels or sheets. I'm confident we'll be able to get a few more years of life out of this 2015 Samsung washer. I tried to save some money by ordering these since the factory parts are so expensive. They only last a few months and then the machine was shaking worse than before. I ended up biting the bullet and ordering the factory parts and now it’s completely quiet and no shaking. Buy the good stuff, you’ll end up spending more in the end if you get these.
