Venom: Toxin With A Vengeance! (Venom (2011-2013))

Venom faces off against Toxin in the streets and their relationship is already strained thanks to Thompson burning Brock in The Savage Six. There is a new enemy for both of them to face and they do, at a local school, the same one where Thompson is teaching and Brock finds him.This Volume is good, i read it one sitting excitedly. It is more gruesome than the last Venom, i can tell you that.******SPOILER ALERT DONT READ SPOILER ALERT DONT READ***************i found it super cheesy that Toxin and Venom team up to defeat their tube troubled enemy, i mean they realize they have to do this and it doesn't help their relationship at all, Toxin basically lets Thompson off the hook for now, and its clear that he'll come back eventually but I, at the time, was feeling it was too cheesy.********* *****************get it if you're into some symbiote on symbiote action

Cullen Bunn continues the Venom series in Toxin with a Vengeance. Flash adjusts to a new neighborhood as he moves into Philadelphia, while also trying to maintain a low profile. Symbiotes are very difficult to overlook though because Toxin has stumbled upon Venom's whereabouts. The showdown between symbiotes draws near, but a new breed of slayers may play cause an even bigger battle at hand. I just want to mention that I love all symbiotic characters...and have stayed up all night reading Savage Six, Devils Pack, and now this to follow up. This volume was decent, but compared to previous novels both the art and the story itself just seem dull. Though I still give Toxin with a Vengeance 3.5/5 stars.

This was an all new good to the finish battle between agent venom and toxin aka Eddie Brock but it shows eddies true colors in the end.

Decent story, art is ok. Was intrigued by the description but I felt the overall book could have been a bit more cohesive and less repetitive . Venom feels lonely in his new city and struggles to control his symbiote... over and over.

I dont know if many people are still following Venom now with Remender moved on to other projects, but Cullen Bunn has done a great job picking up where Remender left off, now stepping into the shoes of a Remender is no easy task but i do think Bunn has done the series justice. I was a little unsure after Bunn's first book with Venom Devils Pack which was just ok in my opinion but i really enjoyed his second effort with Toxin with a Vengeance, its an action packed symbiote stroy involving Agent Venom and Eddie Brock as Toxin with some great battle scenes, if you enjoyed Remenders run of Venom I recomend this to you.
