We loved the quality of the packaging. There is only so much to offer with soldier fly larvae, but Ada Farm found a way to bring quality to this chicken flock staple. The vacuum sealed packaging has extended the shelf life of the larvae. The flock couldn't be happier with them and I'm happy that it's so easy to store and keep fresh. Larvae from other companies are usually loosely packaged in plastic which isn't as easy to store.

My chickens and ducks come running when I come out to give them their treats. They expect it every afternoon and will crowd my feet until I dump a coffee can full for everyone. If my hens are laying when I come out, they will holler for some to be brought to them or will stop laying to come grab some. These worms have been a great supplement throughout the winter to help my free range animals get extra protein. I have to buy two 10lbs boxes at a time, and may have to bump it up to three boxes, just because they love their treats so much. PS. I also have to chase my mom’s Jack Russell away when I spread these for my animals, because he loves them and snacks on them, too.
