Wilton Show-N-Serve 12-Inch Lace Doily Cake Circles, 8-Count - Round Cake Boards

I have a frequently requested cheesecake I make for special occasions and some work events, so I use these for a number of reasons. In no particular order-1. Presentation! We eat with our eyes first. Being able to put this out looks very nice. And let's face it, why bake except for the attention? Haha just kidding, but it's still very nice to look at, and everyone likes praise.2. Save your cake pans. If you have a nice, or reasonably nice, piece of bake ware you probably don't want people digging knives and forks into them. Using these cake rounds lets you leave your pans at home.3. Leave them and forget them. No more remembering to take your cake pan home. You can leave these wherever, and you can also gift these and not have to put your name on a cake server.I've been using cake rounds for years now and I'll NEVER go back.

If you're using a frosting scraper to get those smooth, sharp edges on your frosted cake, the scalloped edges of these cake boards pose a problem.Made a 3-layer 9 inch cake with cream cheese buttercream using the 10 inch cake board on a turntable . When smoothing the sides, the frosting scraper hangs up on the scallops, making it impossible to get a perfectly smooth finish. Only a problem if you're looking for that perfect finish on the sides that you're not covering with additional decorating.Otherwise, these are great. Supported a heavy 3-layer cherry nut cake with cream cheese frosting. Attractive presentation. A bit pricey, but would definitely buy again.

The photo here makes this look a bit better than it is in real life. From the image it almost looks like there's real lace on the edges, but in person the contrast just isn't there, it's like the white area and the gray area are too similar in color and contrast and from about two feet away this blurs and just looks like a dingy white cake board. Maybe mine was misprinted or something, but I checked (who knows, my eyes might be bad, right?) with three other people in the household and they all agreed that it was kind of a lost detail unless you're right up on it. Also the edges are totally unfinished - it's just looking into brown cardboard - a normal cake board covered in fondant or wrapped properly would look nicer

I used these for an women's cake-decorating party at my church. When we all lined up our cakes at the end of the party, these cake boards made all the cakes look uniform and very elegant. Very impressive! I cannot believe I have not used these before! I will definitely use them any time I plan to make a cake for someone. They really add that special extra touch. They are study, coated so no grease or oil leaks into the cardboard, affordable and very pretty. I would go so far to say that if you are using these for a quick presentation at home, they could possibly be used more than once. The slick coating on the outside probably would wipe off easily (just don't run under water because the edges are unfinished/corregated cardboard). I have not seen these at local box stores, so I was so pleased when I stumbled upon them online. Will buy again!

For a novice Baker like me multiple baking supplies such as Cake boards was a prerequisite.I bake cakes every now and then, and So I purchased this 10 inch cake boarf from Wilton.I’d say- Its a great product for a single tier cake, I Wont recommend this cake board for any multiple tier cake.

I used these for my sister's wedding cake. She had a three-tier round display cake and two rectangular companion sheet cakes. The sheet cakes used the Wilton 14-by-20-Inch Show 'N Serve Cake Board, and the display cake used this board, which conveniently matches. These were pretty enough for her special day, without requiring us to buy expensive display plates.I've always found Wilton products to be of good quality. These are sturdy, the pattern is pretty, and you can get them in other sizes to match. If you're worried about filling up landfills, then good news! These are cardboard; they're compostable. And that's about all you need in a cake board. :-)

Perfect for sending a cake and not having to worry about getting your plate back. I really needed the 12" and ordered them too. I usually bake 9" cakes but these would be good for 8".

much nicer to be able to take this out of food carrier , all in one go , than handle all cakes again.

These are very nice and sturdy cake boards. I was looking for something with a decoration on it and found these and am so happy! They are lighted coated with wax which helps to reposition your baked goods if needed. The only criticism I have is that 3-4 of them were off abit on the pattern placement on the cake board. The pattern is of a lace doily and the pattern was not centered on the board as the other ones were. Other than that, these are great. I would buy them again.

Very nice cake boards that are very sturdy (easily supported my large fruit cake), so these will easily hold any 10-inch cake you care to bake. Nicely printed lace pattern on the face (plain corrugated cardboard on the back). Good value at 10 boards per package. Recommended.

Resistentes y con buen diseño y tamaño, me encuentro satisfecha con el producto, aunque me pareció mucho el tiempo de espera ya que los pedí desde Agosto y recién me han llegado el día de hoy 04 de octubre.
