All of Paul Stamet's mushroom supplements are simply amazing. They are the best and the purest mushroom supplements one can purchase. I take quite a few, including Chaga, My Community, Turkey Tail, and Lion's Mane, but my recent discovery of Mesima Mushroom may be my favorite insofar that it actually seems to reduce symptoms of Hashimoto's and promotes restful sleep, a combination which is fantastic for someone like me. I don't write many reviews, but felt I needed to let my Amazon buddies know that Host Defense Mesima Mushroom capsules are AMAZING.

they exist many studies on this particular mushroom in the web in my case result as the best antibacterial and antiviral mushroom i had review previous the Paul stamets studies and other sources..does have an amazing effect and the results are excellent in health and well being i take it when something does n feel right in my digestive system ..in my case ....hope that have same benefit for whoever .nicolas

I'm middle aged and recently had to have saddled pulmonary embolisms removed from my lungs. During the CT scan, they also found nodules in there. I've been experiencing some lung pains and i've already been taking Paul Stamet's seventeen mushroom MycoCommunity immune defense supplement. I have since added Fungi Perfecti's Mesima, Cordyceps/Reishi and red ginseng extract to my supplement routine and have been taking these for about a week now while I wait on a visit with a pulmonologist. I can report in that short time that my lungs already are starting to feel less inflamed and swollen. I'm hoping that I do not have a metastasis in my lungs of any kind but I will continue to take these supplements even if radiation and chemotherapy is necessary.

I have gastro problems and this has helped immensely! I use their Reishi, Maitake, Turkey Tail, Lion's Mane, Chaga, Cordyceps, and Mesima. Not all at once of course! I do take the Reishi, Maitake and Turkey Tail in the morning and the Mesima in the afternoon. These products are the best by far , IMO. I have no side effects (and I am sensitive to everything) and can take these on an empty stomach with no problem.

I have an autoimmune disease, so anytime I try something new, it is risky. However, I am very happy I tried this. Hashimoto disease has my throat so swollen. I have to chew my food a lot and drink a lot of water at my meals in order to swallow. But, I have been taking Mesima for a week and the swelling is gone! I don't know if it is completely gone, but I don't choke over my meals anymore, and I can breath so much better. My throat is far less restricted. I also notice that I don't crave sugar at all since taking it and have lost a couple of pounds. Not expected, but a nice bonus.

I’ve been taking for the past four days now, and already notice a difference. I have more energy, and feel less anxious. Seems to be a great product!
