Pebeo Studio Watercolour - Watercolour Paint Set For Professional Artists and Hobby Painters - 24 colours, 12 ml, 668920

Incredible paints. I was pleased with the selection of colours for a start off, so tried a few out on a bird composition I wanted to try so this is my first practice piece on wood pulp paper. The piece is all wet on dry because of the paper type. I was very surprised and delighted to get a good pale blue wash for the sky with ease. The first thing I noticed once the sky wash dried was that the colour hadn't faded back at all as expected which is why it is a bit brighter than I actually wanted. I found this to be true of a good 80% of the colours, even when painting wet in wet flowers on cotton paper. Pigments are bright, paint flows easily so you can use the paint straight from the tube if needed. The pigment to binder ratio hasn't been affected by flow either. I have compared them with a number of professional art supplies and can't really find a difference other than a looser flow on the paint. Great for birds, landscapes and floral designs, I can't say how good they are for portrait painting as that subject is one I still have yet to try at some point.

These paints go such a long way. I have been using them for a year and I’m only starting to run out now. Good choice of useful colours. My only minor criticism is that that colour on the tube is very different to what’s inside on some of the colours. I would definitely buy these again

Nice colours and easy to use.

I haven't tested them all but one must of separated inside the tube because it had a weird consistency and took a long time to dry. It wasn't as pigmented as the others. I've had lots of Pebeo acrylic paints and they have been brilliant but for some reason the watercolour doesn't match up to there name. I swatched this product on the same paper as another brand and this wasn't as nice. There is a good range of colours ,maybe I just received an older product because Pebeo is normally nice to work with.

A little goes along way as they seem too be quite pigmented. smooth application. Works perfectly for my project

I find this brand cheaper than a lot of British branded watercolours but as pigmented and easy to use as the more expensive ones.

Ben nu bezig me een watercolour schilderij op karton. De kleuren zijn prachtig en zo levendig. Een 10+ voor deze Pebeo watercolour 24 set. Wat ik wel jammer vind is dat de tubes zo klein zijn en de prijs is wel prijzig. Maar de kwaliteit is geweldig. Ik koop ze zeker nog eens. Een echte aanrader voor een beginner zoals ik. Ben meer dan tevreden met deze 24 watercolour set.👍🏾😁👋🏾
