OBSESSED with this product!
I loooove and swear by this product! I originally bought it to protect my hair from the sun, but I’m learning it’s so much more than that. It zaps frizz, adds moisture without making my hair greasy, and leaves my hair feeling softer and healthier. If I can’t wash my hair that day and my curls are looking dry, sad, and frizzy, flex factor is my best friend. The only drawback is that the pump it comes with doesn’t dispense enough in one pump, so I have to pump about 5 times before I get the amount I want. Still, even with this use (5 pumps per side of my head), the product lasts a while.

My new number one product
The heat protectant factor works amazing and my hair isn't as dry since I've been using it to defuse with. Also works really well for curl sculpting in general and leave my hair soft not brittle

Undecided about this one
I have coily, type 4 hair, so I was drawn to the product based on its heat protectant abilities and curl retention claims. The scent is really good, it is very relaxing to me and I enjoy using it.I don’t think this is a bad product at all, I just don’t think it really adds a lot of value for me. I do like the UV/heat protection within this product, but it doesn’t make my hair feel particularly moisturized. The consistency is on the thinner side, which I don’t mind at all actually. It didn’t weigh my hair down. I only use this on my hair wet. I have tried it dry, but it leaves a sticky film on the hair. For these reasons, I am on the fence about this product. I will keep using it and note if any changes occur.

Works Nicely in My Hair, No Residue. Hate Weird Angled Pump.
I actually really like this product. It worked well on my hair. I have natural curly hair, but it's not course or super tight curls. This product is thinner and this makes it easier to work into my hair. I simply wet my hair to bring the curl back and then I worked this product in. It left my hair feeling nice and soft after it dried and it seemed to reduce the frizz I had as well. I really like that I didnt feel any residue with this product. So many other curl creams/serums tend to leave some kind of residue, but not this one so far. This product has a nice mild scent and the scent fades nicely after awhile. There is a definite hint of coconut, but it's not overpowering. I typically don't like strong coconut smells (unless it's something edible), so this product is nice because it's so mildly scented and rather pleasant. This product comes in a pump bottle. I hate the pump on this bottle. Its angled weird and it gets slippery once your hands are wet or have the product on them from working it into your hair. Having a pump is fine, but they need a better pump. The product is actually quite runny, but I don't think it would work well in a spray bottle because I think it would clog it too easily. The product also runs all down the pump because of the stupid shape of the pump and chubby bottle. Other than the terrible pump and chubby bottle, the actual product I like.

Waited A Lifetime...
First off I am not a verified buyer... yet! This product was gifted to me and after three weeks I am a true believer. I came on Amazon to find the product and save the pageWhen I say I waited a lifetime for this I am not exaggerating, I'm 62 years old. I have Hispanic very fine, but very curly hair. This product defined my curls, makes them shine in a non greasy way, holds all day, does not look dry or crusty as the day wears on. Washes out well and goes on easy, only a small amount needed. My hair feels and looks healthy.Yes! This is it for me, I have never ever been able to find a product that clicks ALL my curly hair boxes, and believe me I have spent a small fortune on curly hair products over the years.

For the price, worthless.
I purchased their whole system… every item recommended for my hair and I see no difference between this vs curling systems from Target. Absolutely overpriced.

Great hair refresher
I am relatively new to DevaCurl products and so far I have been very impressed. My hair is probably 3A in terms of texture and I have frizz on top that I just can't seem to get rid of. These products left my hair feeling really soft, with defined curls and the frizz was more manageable. I used this on my hair both when it was wet, before putting in my other products, or before blow drying it for the heat protection. And also when it was dry as a refresher since I usually wake up with my hair looking very obviously slept on with lots of frizz. This tames my frizz and makes my hair look so much better, like I just styled it. Overall this is great for anyone who needs curl protection or reviver!

Does not weigh down curls
I have been using the Deva Curl products for a few years.DevaCurl FlexFactor Curl Protection & Retention Primer, Cozy Getaway, 8 fl. oz. for $28. It’s great work into hair while wet and before putting on gel or other styling products. It’s not thick, has a light weight feel and smells pleasant. Doesn’t take long to apply and can be left in hair. This one is not Curly Hair approved.DevaCurl CurlBond Re-Coiling Treatment Mask, Cozy Getaway, 8 fl. Oz for $36. It’s a bit thick, but is great for especially dry hair. I like to leave it on wet hair for about 30 minutes covered like a treatment mask and then rinse out with cool/warm water. This one is also not Curly Hair approved.DevaCurl SuperMousse Coconut Oil Infused Volumizer, Superfruits, 5.1 fl. oz. for $28. It’s a really nice and easy foam to use and you can really feel the coconut oil when applying it. I didn’t see this one on the Curly Hair approved list but I think a decent alternative would be the DevaCurl Frizz-Fighting Volumizing Foam which is Curly Hair approved.Overall, I liked the treatment mask the most. DevaCurl does make some nice products, especially the ones that are Curly Hair approved. Those are listed on the Curl Scan website. I don’t have any issues paying the prices for DevaCurl given I use to use Ouidad products before.
