I usually do not write Amazon reviews, but I thought I should do one for this dash cam rearview mirror in order to address concerns regarding the fact that it is a generic brand product.My main reason for buying this product was for the purpose of a dashcam and I guess a camera that recorded the back. Before buying this specific mirror, I was debating on whether to buy an Android one or just a mirror that had the dashcam function. In simple words, just go for this one. Usually, the android dashcam rearview mirrors have a lower resolution when it comes to video recordings. This mirror when it comes to video resolution in contrast to all those other dashcam rearview mirrors circulating on Amazon.Pluses:+ I was very pleased with the higher video resolution on the front dashcam. Higher than the traditional 1080p+ The video screen on the mirror is distinctly IPS, which is up to par with modern tech screens right now+ I like the fact that the rearview camera that comes with it records and can also be used just as a rear dashcam. I did not use the rearview camera as a backup camera because my car already had one+ It boots up instantly as soon as you start your vehicle and begins recording! Android mirrors can take up to 30 secs to boot up!+ Menu is easy to use and navigate+ Blue anti-glare tint on the mirror is not so dark, just perfect+ The LDWS and the FCWS works to a certain extent, and should only be used on the highway as directed. Still suitable and acceptable.+ No software lag on my part which is great!+ Price is reasonableCons:-The coverage of the front camera is a smaller angle than other types of dashcams out there and even android mirrors-The coverage of the back camera is lesser than most as well. Resolution is also lower at only 720p- The LDWS and the FCWS can be an annoyance in the city and you constantly have to turn it off. Updates on accuracy would be nice also.* I recommend only turning off the beeping rather than the entire ADAS, saves you a step for when you want to turn it back on-Wiring is not long enough for some vehicles. When installing the back camera in the cabin I ran out of wire. Now imagine if I would have actually installed it as a backup camera it would not have been enough. Same goes for the power cable.-Instructions are poor, but you should always expect that when buying generic Chinese tech productsVerdict: This probably the best dashcam rearview mirror out there right now and would recommend it despite some minor flaws. I have heard that the android dashcam rearview mirrors come with a lot of glitches and issues, so this mirror is a great alternative! It also it is great basic dash cam.I was skeptical at first, but I could not expect any more from a generic product like this. Besides, the ADAS is a plus and quite interesting to have.

After comparing multiple similar products on Amazon, I finally bought this product -- SmarTure (2nd Generation M511) 1296P Ultra HD. Here are some of the pros and cons of the product.Pros:1) Quite good front camera video quality, up to 1296P.2) Record both front and back cameras simultaneously.3) Rear camera is small, about only 0.6 inch in diameter and 1.1 inch in length.4) Mirror is clear, not blue colored.5) Auto screen saver settings have 10sec, 1 min & 3 min (some other products are 1 min minimum.)6) Long wire - 19 ft7) Buttons are not touchscreen, so that mirror won't get a lot of fingerprints.8) Loaded features - G-sensor, parking monitoring, driving assistant functions (lane change and collision warning)6) Relatively low price (~$70)Cons:1) Rear camera is very low quality, recorded as 720x480 pixel files, but looks more like 320x240 video. Can't see any license plate clearly. (Not sure it is the camera is lower resolution or the recording is lower resolution).2) Rear camera is only about 90 degree horizontally. It needs at least 120~140 degree.3) Rear camera metal holder cannot bent the camera downward over 40 degree. That's problematic as a reverse camera.4) The micro SD card slot is located on the top center of the mirror. It's incredibly difficult to insert and get out the SD card from front of the mirror. (Suggest to re-locate the SD slot to the right or bottom of the mirror for easy access!)5) Can only use about 20GB out of 32GB SD card for recording front and rear videos. That's about 2.5 hours videos, before looping video files. (Suggest to support 128GB SD card)6) Reverse video flickers a lot, even with the black wire is connected to the car metal as some FAQ suggested and using cigarette charge adapter for the power (Not all people run into this issue, but mine does even with a second unit.)7) There is not a good manual to explain what is setting does.Should the product improves the rear camera resolution and viewing angle, it could be a great product.

First i would like to say that i drive a caravan, this mirror is the size of rear view that the manufacturer should have installed in the van. I normally turn off the video in the mirror while i am driving and i love the size of it just a rear view on its own. the video size and quality in the mirror are very good as far as i am concerned. the rear camera was super easy for me to install and i attached it to the inside top center of my hatch, it works great for me to be able to see a very wide angle. i dont use the backup lines that can be used with this system, i have been able to install the camera so that i can use the rear defrost lines as a guide for how far away i am from an object when i am backing up. Overall for my needs its a perfect system that keeps my windshield and dash area clear, i didn't want a separate camera stuck to my windshield or on my dash. i've had no problems using it or viewing the videos that are created.

The delivery was received quicklyThe mirror looks great - better than the standard rear view mirror fitted to my car, and it gives good visibility as a mirror. Fitting it over the existing mirror took less than 1 minuteIt is great that it starts up when you turn on the car ignition so you never have to worry about forgetting to turn it on - it's always recording.Quality of the footage is good. I viewed a review on youtube prior to choosing this dash cam so I could see the camera in actionThe instructions are a little basic but most of the dash cam menu items are straightforward. I contacted the seller who responded quickly and answered the questions I hadHave not fitted the rear camera as my car already has a reversing camera but I may get it fitted soon so we have the footage of behind my car as well. This is my first dash cam and I am really pleased with it. I would buy it again

Dashcam hervorragend, gute Videoqualität und funktioniert sehr zuverlässig. Die Rückkamera war zunächst nicht zu gebrauchen. Funktion nur zufällig.Eine Rückfrage beim Hersteller ergab daß man beim Masseanschluß der Kamera nicht das Massekabel des Rüchlichts verwenden darf sondern an einen Massepol der KAROSSERIE anschließen muß.So angeschlossen funktioniert die Rückkamera jetzt auch einwandfrei

Superiore alle adpettative. Qualità delle registrazioni eccellente. Quando il monitor sottospecchio è spento la parte riflettente lo cela perfettamente. Molto interessante la possibilità di escludere le guide sovraimpresse posteriori, per una migliore registrazione della strada in viaggio, utilissima funzione, nel mio caso ho potuto registrare la targa della vettura del truffatore che mi lampeggiava, per poi sostenere che avevo urtato e danneggiato la sua auto. Si è dato alla fuga non appena saputo che registravo i percorsi. Targa segnalata con riprese totali dell’accaduto, ai carabinieri.

The media could not be loaded.  J'ai acheté ce rétroviseurs pour mon xsara picasso afin d'avoir une caméra de recul pour me garer plus facilement et j'en suis vraiment content, la fonction dashcam marche très bien et la qualité est au rendez-vous de jour comme de nuit seul la fonction de détections de la force g qui est trop sensible (surement due aux nombreux dos d'âne sur mon parcours) et enregistre par conséquent toutes les videos, cependant ce n'est pas un problème, je l'ai désactivé et si jamais je devais rendre un fichier ineffaçable il me suffirait d'appuyer sur un des boutons. Les vidéos sont enregistrées en boucle (2, 3 ou 5 minutes) sur la carte sd. Un autre petit défaut et la vision de la caméra arrière de nuit car l'on ne voit pas très clairement.Il y'a aussi une fonction dashcam en mode parking qui se déclenche lors de la detection de choc.Les fils sont très longs et me permette tres largement de réaliser tous les branchements.Je recommande vivement
