Works well during hurricanes
Two massive hurricanes, back to back, and this arm survived atop a 12ft pole on the beach.

Make sure Cat5e cable is long enough
The extension rod lumen is only large enough for one RJ45 plug to go through it. This the Reolink covered plug which is used in many other IP cameras will not fit through it. Thus you need a long enough Cat 5e cable to pull down through the rod and the connect to the Reolink plug. There’s a lot of wires there you would have to wind around and then center the plug in the middle but it actually fit to my amazement. The new camera view was perfect as it allowed us to view the driveway and front yard fully and I am purchasing a second one.
