These are great tools and good quality.

There are a ton of no-name brand kits out there for cheaper. They're probably all rolling out of the same Chinese factory. The one I bought was useless. The crimper ruined several RJ45s. "Buy cheap, buy twice."I got this one as a replacement, and it works well. Should have bought this one in the first place.

Obviously this kit is not the greatest kit out there, but it is a good enough kit for starters/occasional enthusiasts. If you have to work with these tools every single day, I honestly don't recommend buying this. If you make your own cables for fun or have a home DIY project to do, this is a great set. An added bonus, some of these tools work great for more than just network cabling.

The punch down tool worked as expected. The crimping tool took massive effort to successfully install rj45 on cable - much more than similar tools I have used in the past.The cable tester is just a simple continuity test, but only one pair at a time. Works, but the most basic of testers. Since this was a basic price, I expected basic functionality. If I was doing this kind of work on a regular basis, I'd have opted for a higher cost/higher quality set of tools. Since I only do network cabling once in while, it worked, while not letting an expensive set of tools just sit on the shelf.

Do you have to create patch cables all day long? Are you running risers from one floor to the next?If yes, then this kit is exactly what you need, it includes every single part that allows you to craft test and install and crimp connectors onto any cable you encounter.It works well and I highly recommend it, our department has one for each of our IT professionals.

Very good set with all the tools you need to wire network cables and test your runs and cables. Easy to use and good quality tools. No complaints at all and cheaper then buying all the tools separately. The only think you will need is the 9V battery for the tester. Definitely recommend this kit to anyone, good value.

I'm just getting into networking and it's nice to have an all-in-one kit this good for this cheap.No complaints here, I'd even recommend it to colleagues.

Kit was ok, the quality of the punch down tool and the others is ok, nothing fancy. The cable tester was great until it suddenly stopped working. Probably better to spend a little more and buy the tools by themselves.
