One piece with simple trim to fit, and it went on great.

This thing is an absolute nightmare to install in a small bathroom, but once you have it on it works great. Just get the right size - you will have to trim it down, either with a hacksaw, box-cutter, scissors, or maybe a Dremel tool, and then slide it onto the bottom of the shower door. Even with wide or soap it will eventually really grab on and be hard to slide into place. Maybe you can find a better way, but I get it as close as I can then pound it very carefully with a rubber mallet. It makes me nervous, but the old runner was becoming truly disgusting and no longer really stopped the water from exiting the shower. This one looks like crystal and keeps the water (mostly) inside. Looks great now, seems durable, but I imagine I'll have to change it out again in a couple of years

I ordered this to replace the old shower door sweep that’s over 10 years old. Quality of the plastic and rubber seems to be good. I had to use an heavy duty cutter to trim to desired length. The listing says a pair of scissors or a knife will work, but when I tried both ways, they didn’t do the job. Also, I had to trim the rubber strips since they were wider than my old one. I used a blade to trim. After customizing it, it seems to be doing its job. Good it’ll last a long time!

Many years ago i had a glass wall shower installed. Over the years this plastic guard fell apart. The company that installed the shower is gone and i figured it was a custom thing. I had no udea what to search for but one day while surfing amazon for an unrelated product, this came up. And it is an exact replacement for what was installed. The body is rigid but the rake that touches the shower floor is soft like a windshield wiper.

I purchased the 3/8" width door sweep to replace my old cracked and discolored sweep. The construction of this sweep is made well. The only issue I found was the advertised size for a 3/8" width glass door is incorrect. The advertised sweep is only 3/8" wide which is too narrow for a 3/8" glass door. The sweep should be at least 7/16" wide to properly fit a 3/8" wide glass door. In order to make this sweep fit, I had to heat the plastic sweep with a heat gun to make it soft enough to make it plyable enough to be able to slide it onto the glass door. It is a very tight fit.

Most frameless shower doors purchased from the "Big Box" stores are only 3/8" thick so this is the only size door seal you can buy from them. I do a lot of work on High End homes where thicker 1/2" shower doors are used, so finding the wider seals has been a challenge. I came across these on Amazon, I ordered two so I would have an extra for next time. The 39" length is nice because I never know what size door I will be working on. They trim to fit really easy, so I do it once they are installed. Prior to installation, take a new "construction" style razor blade and scrape the sides and bottom of the door where the seal will be placed. This will ensure a good tight fit and make placement much easier. Just a small word of caution; the sweep material is longer then on most seals, so please DO NOT assume the door will close without binding, you may need to raise the door or trim the sweeps a little bit to adjust the fit. If you do not check this and just push the door closed, you may not get it back open, so please take your time and check.
