This sledge hammer works great and seems very sturdy. I expect this will last us many years.

Maybe my title is a little obvious, but for anyone out there who doesn’t do demolition work on a daily basis, be warned - this thing is pretty heavy and the handle is long. I’m a girl and I consider myself to be decently strong, but it is slightly difficult for me to use... that being said, it is super sturdy and would probably be great for a lumber jack. I bought it to help split some wood for my fireplace. Although tough to handle for me, I managed to get some kindling. Probably could have gone for a lighter sledge and a hatchet for my purpose though, so something to keep in mind depending on what you want to use it for!

Good quality for the price

Sometimes persuasion solves the equation. This will do it.

I have used it to bust up many concrete blocks where post had been set in the ground. So far, there are no signs of damage or chips on the hammer. It's a great workout too. (Wear safety glasses if using it to break anything. Rock and cement chips do go flying.)
