PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller Midnight Black (Renewed)

I bought this controller for my grandson. I say to him. “How does the controller work because I need to give a review.” “It’s working and clear,” he responded. So, that’s great! I bought the controller at an economical price. The only downside is that I was promised the controller on one day, but got it three days later not next day even though I have prime. Additionally, to give a thumbs up.👍 It came with all the parts, including the charger cord, but not to charge plug. I am satisfied because he’s satisfied.

I ordered two of these controllers a few months apart. The first one worked fine but ended up with stick drift about 3.5 months later. I assumed it was something I did so I just hit "re-order" and got another one. Well this one came and is IMMEDIATELY unusable. "Stick drift" doesn't cover it. It just spins really really fast and will not stop even after resetting it.

So far, so good. Albeit, it came assembled weird. As first I assumed the right stick was broken as I felt a crack when rotated the stick around. Any issue at all with a controller this expensive is unacceptable so I considered reporting this and getting it replaced, however I realized that the black plating around the sticks was not clipped on right at all, and after taking it off then putting it back on right, it was totally fine. The crack was still there though in the right stick, so I realized that the rubber nub on it was put on upside down, leading to the issue there. Other than how badly it was assembled, it's perfect, clean, and basically brand new. Works amazing, I love it. The quality is incredible, the controller feels great to play with. I especially appreciate the back buttons you can map, and what's cooler is that Playstation has an app for PC that allows you to configure the buttons in any way you want into profiles, and switching profiles is seamless and only takes two simultaneously button presses. Depending on the game, I switch the profiles to suit my needs with the buttons on the back, it's very convenient.

So far so good. Love the color!! Al ok the things work 👌 charges fast ! Buttons are easy to gently wipe clean. Duo sense is super cool and works well. Speaker/mic thing works well! These things are not very durable though but I get it. Just wish they were like drop proof a little bit ..cuz u accidentally drop it and like boom it won't work right ... this is our 5th one in like 6 months.. not the fault of the brand or anything. Just gets knocked over off shelf 1ft up off the floor,or drops out of kids hands from like slouchy bean bag length up off floor, but if it hits the floor carpet or not it stops working and gets glitchy... I hope this one is good longer.

It seems I’ve unfortunately received a faulty or damaged controller. After several attempts to charge it, I’ve had no success. Initially, I thought it might simply need a full recharge, but even after leaving it plugged in for hours, there was no response—no lights, no connection, nothing. It appears the battery may be completely dead or non-functional. In an effort to troubleshoot the issue, I even tried connecting it to my PC and downloading the PlayStation Accessories software, hoping to force a firmware update or reset. Unfortunately, that didn’t help either. The controller remains unresponsive, showing no signs of life or charging activity. Based on everything I’ve tried, it’s clear the controller is either seriously damaged or completely dead. I understand that electronic issues can happen, but receiving a non-working product right out of this USPS mailer is disappointing. I would appreciate a resolution, whether that’s Amazon seller accountability, or a refund as this clearly wasn't tested. Also, classified as Excellent condition and it wasn't. You can clearly see the bottom of the controller is scratched.PS5 controller wasn't professionally inspected.
