LOVE IT !
For the price this is 5 stars all the way ! this is by far the most logical and most sturdy keyboard stand I ever had , this design makes so much sense I cant believe no body ever thought of it before . I would have easily paid 25 dollars more for this. I have my motif on it right now in the studio it is as solid as table , easy to install right out of the box and you feel safe putting your board on it.. no more cross bars underneath. now if you are gigging alot it will take an extra step to set up , and my be an akward fit in your back seat but I am willing to do that for the protection of my board .. this is the best stand for the price I have ever seen, dont even hesitate just buy this

Heavy, sturdy and stable
The Z stand is sturdy, well built and stable. I prefer it to the X-shaped stand that I had been using. It also is heavy (18.8 lbs.), so it's not as portable as the X stands, but I do plan to carry it with my other equipment when our band plays out. It's also more expensive (my X stand was less than $30; the Z stand was $55, and others go as high as at least $90). This stand is not difficult to assemble; picture instructions are included, and a shortened version was on the Amazon web page that featured the stand and where I ordered it. My only suggestion for the stand would be an easier way to adjust the height. The stand extends up by pushing in a spring-loaded button that otherwise protrudes from holes in each leg. With the button held in by a finger/thumb, you pull the top of the leg to extend the height, and when the button reaches the next hole in the leg, the button springs into that hole, holding the leg at that height. It's a hassle to have to hold in the button, pull the leg up to the next hole, push in the button, pull up the leg, etc etc, given that there's 13 holes along the leg. What I did was to put my thumb over each hole before the button reached it as I pulled up the leg, thus keeping the button held in and allowing the leg to be more easily raised higher. Overall, I recommend this stand.

I used this for a tennis stringer stand and it works great
I know this was advertised for holding a keyboard, and it was adjustable but bought a table top Tennis Stringer which is great to move for place to place but is still awkwardly big, so I thought I would try this to have a stand for it. This works great, the fact that it's adjustable for width and height is awesome, I'm sure no one will use this for a tennis stringer but if you have a table top and want a stand this is an awesome option. Solid stand, solid price!

Good and Stable!
Very simple to assemble and is a very sturdy stand. I like that there is room for your legs with no x bars in the way. The height is simple to adjust if you need that. The top rails are a lot wider than my keyboard but I don't mind as the keyboard is less likely to get knocked off by accident. I am pleased with this product.

Good sturdy adjustable stand.
I have a good adjustable X stand that is useful for transport. However for home use I wanted something I could fit my legs under comfortably to access my pedal. This stand does the job. It also has excellent incremental height adjustment ability. Yes you push is a spring load button, but it is not difficult. For me the stand works fine at it's lowest level. I can use my rolling office chair ( with no arms) as a bench, making it easy to slide from my desk to my keyboard. I have a Casio Wk-245 on it right now and it fits fine. It is deep enough to hold a large keyboard. My M-Audio 88 controller will fit as well, though leaves a lot of empty space in front or back, depending how I set it. This doesn't interfere with playing though. All in all it is a great stand for the money and preferable to me for home use. It also adjust high enough for playing while standing if that is what one would wish to do. Perhaps on stage, but this would be more cumbersome to take on gigs.

I wish I could have kept this one
Much like most newer products I've experienced, this was sturdy, durable, adjustable, and dependable. Unfortunately, measure twice, buy once! The rails for the keyboard slots were about 1/8 inch too wide!!! Oof I was so upset! Make sure you measure the slots! This was a great totally adjustable stand and definitely a keeper, but our 61 key Yamaha was older and the slots for a stand were skinnier :( it is a definite buy overall. If we get a newer keyboard I will definitely buy this stand, it was great.

Built like a tank
I bought this as a permanent stand for a big, heavy keyboard in a studio setting, and it's perfect for that task. Will outlive three keyboards, I am sure. No wobble, no shake. If you're looking for "furniture," this is not it. If you're looking for something portable to take to gigs, this is not it. If you're looking for a very stable, sturdy, nicely made single-keyboard stand for your studio, this is a good one.

Quick set up and sturdy.
This item is in my view structurally able to hold most keyboards, and maybe all. I have not seen all keyboards, yet I have an 88 key, keyboard and it does well in terms of width adjustment and is sturdy. Very easy to set up and likely fairly portable.

Excellent Product
I am so glad I bought this stand. My daughter has a heavy 88 key Yamaha keyboard. It was easy to install and super sturdy. I also got it on sale, half price of what it's priced today. Adjustability is easy as well (without having to dismount the keyboard). I would absolutely recommend this product.

Rock solid
I ordered this to replace a wobbly X-style stand - trying to read music on that one was making players squint. Flash-forward two days, and we have a keyboard on a stand that feels as stable as an actual piano. Zero wobble. Result.Assembly was fine. All the parts felt well made, and they aligned properly. I found it helpful to have someone just hold the side pieces in balance when I was lining up the screws to attach the crossbar, but it was straightforward to put together, and there were no irritating moments. The extra nice factor is that to adjust width or height is easy, and you don't have to take it apart again. The little press-in button to adjust the leg height grades is great. (If you want to micro-manage the intervals, you won't be able to - but the number of slots is generous.) Go for it!
