ElimiDerm Topical Cream For Dogs and Cats, 0.75 oz Tube

I had 2 dogs with very different skin issues. One has Discoid Lupus (affecting the mucous membranes: tissues surrounding eyes, lips, nose, etc) and the other just has allergies/reactions to random things involving her skin. I bought this because the VBG Skincare Ointment I used to buy has been discontinued everywhere. I loved the ointment, it worked fantastic on a wide variety of skin conditions with its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties - as a vet tech, I recommended it often.I had high hopes that this would be just as awesome, but being that it's a cream, it doesn't stick as well and is easily licked off whereas the ointment was able to stay on longer to do its job. It doesn't seem as potent and smells less potent (which is kind of nice as the ointment had a very strong scent).It still is pretty good. I can't decide if I'll buy it again or search for a veterinarian that might have stocked up on the Ointment when it was being discontinued. If this is all I can find with the ingredients, I probably will end up ordering it again. 3 stars may seem low for something that I say works pretty good, but I just can't help but compare it to the Ointment that I loved. This cream just didn't wow me like the ointment always did.

My dog had a really bad yeast infection on both back paws, they were bright red and raw looking plus all the hair was completely gone, it was also sticky to the touch. I didn’t want the usual medication from the vet’s office since it’s almost always antibiotics, so I decided to give this a try based on Dr. Becker’s recommendation. I have to say, it worked. It took a while ( almost the whole tube) but the redness and stickiness went away and the hair started to grow. It is a very good product. I recommend it and will buy it again if my dog comes across another yeast overgrowth.

Despite what this product claims -- that it smells good, it really doesn't. It has an extremely strong scent that is only slightly reminiscent of cinnamon. It's a lot more herbal and medicine-y smelling than that. It's worth it though since this is the only topical treatment that seems to work on our frenchie pup. She gets these rash spots where her fur falls off and the skin turns grey. They are bacterial and sometimes fungal infections that happen after bites from bugs and exposure to environmental irritants. As recommended by the vet, we've tried Neosporin and anti-fungal creams on these spots in the past, but they didn't work. We saw improvements after using Elimi-derm for just a couple of days.

My wife and I took in a "special project" dog that was found abandoned after the Alabama tornadoes. She was in horrific shape with some of the worst skin issues my vet had ever seen. We tried numerous products to help her, and finally tried this one. It was amazing! Her previously swelled paws returned to a normal size, her back and belly went from fiery pink to plain white skin, and her quality of life changed dramatically. I hope this product works as well for you as it did for us and Miss Belle!

This is amazing! I used it on my dog's hot spot from wearing a sweater. It was red swollen and gross. I put it on for 4 days straight 2x per day and bay the 4th day it was already very light pink and the healing process had began (new skin).

This is a very good product. It soothed my dog's skin and made him chew and lick a lot less. Put it on, rub it in, and keep the dog from licking it off for 5 minutes. After that, it has soaked in. If the dog licks after that, it does no harm, though it might taste weird.

This cleared up yeast spots on my pets fur coat. Great. May sting a bit, but not always. The pet didn't seem to mind and spots cleared fast.
