Student Solutions Manual (Chapters 1-11) for Stewart's Single Variable Calculus, 7th 7th Edition

The Stewart Calculus sequence features worked out examples in the text. The Solutions Manual is important since it gives feedback after trying to solve problems on your own. The Study Guide is also valuable in terms of practice and feedback. The philosophy of the Stewart sequence is, I believe, to combine theory, proofs along with applications and problem-solving. The feedback in the Student Solutions and the Study Guide provides a way to keep the student moving in the right direction. If you're anything like me, you wondered if there was a solutions manual for your 7th edition "Calculus" textbook. You saw single variable and multivariable -- early transcendentals and late -- but couldn't spot a solutions manual for your plain "Calculus" text.Good news! Your search is over. (You're welcome! I bought it and am using it. It even has 6.2*, 6.3*, and 6.4*.)This book is as indispensable as Stewart is impenetrable.Enough writing, I've got homework to do!

Rate a 4 since it is needed (no ESSENTIAL - no punn intended) to accompany the horrible textbook. If your unlucky enough to have your teacher choose this text, then at least you should get this guide - so that you can learn some application of solutions. The solutions manual could be more explanitory - not just expository. An Excellent (5 rating) solutions manual would have provided reinforcement of text discussion (and reference). Unfortunately, this one does not so it gets a 4 rating. ALSO NOTE: only odd number problems are provided (just like the answer guide at the end of the book).That said, do not attempt this class without this guide - suffer two weekends without beer for the money difference and do your self a favor. GET IT!!!

Excellent solution guides with very detail in steps.

This book is a helpful tool when using Stewart 7th edition. Like all calculus books it sometimes skips important steps but still helpful when using the book, or at least half of it.

Brand new book, as all the odd solutions, it has been a life saver. I had the pdf version of this but it is also nice to have the physical copy when you can't get to an electronic device. This book served me well for Calc 1 and Calc 2; goes only up to chapter 11.

I ordered this product because I like trying the problems and seeing if I’m right. With that being said, I’m not sure if I just don’t know how to read a solutions manual, or if something got mixed up in the mail, but the product that came in mail doesn’t seem to be the solutions manual at all; in fact, it’s just the regular textbook.
