This is by far my favorite tanning lotion. I have been buying this product for many years and absolutely love it. It is so easy to apply. First I shave and moisturize with lotion then after it drys about an hour later I add the Jergens. The color is so pretty like a natural tan. I get the best results when I get a little base tanIt makes the product look so natural and beautiful. You can gradually increase your color by applying a little each day depending on how tan you would like to be. My favorite part is it doesn't wash off right away when getting in the shower. You have about 5-10 minutes to wash it off if for some reason you are not happy with the results but once dry it stays on very well. The key is making sure you apply evenly all over. And again a base tan makes it even better. The color shows up quickly as it drys. I like to wait a day after of not shaving so it can really lock in but you dont have to do that. Its great how it stays on for quite a while if you apply a little as it fades but shaving is not an issue for future showers. You may see a little come off when shaving but it is a very small amount. This bottle lasts me for about a month because of how well the color stays on. The scent is so-so . It doesn't smell like a fresh perfume scent like I would like but it doesn't smell bad. It's basically what you would think of for a smell of tanning lotion, if that makes sense. Ive smelled some that were really disgusting. This does not bother me at all. A little can come off on clothes when it is still drying but not later once it has dried. Good luck ladies this product keeps me tan all year long you will love it! The best fake tan ever. I've tried major brands and drug store brands. I've ran ed with a bottle for 15 years or more. This is the best. Use a mit and a back applicator, though. I let it dry for about 2 hours before getting into bed. I use dark grey sheets, because it will wipe off on sheets... Not clothes though. It's the instant tan part that gets in the sheets. After the first rinse, there's no problem. Lasts a long time. Creamy bronze color, not orange.

I can't be out in the sun. I can't do a tanning bed. Spray tans were just to expensive to gamble on. So the price was right. I decided to gamble. IT WORKS. My legs are tan. There is a learning curve though. Make sure you buy the applicator mit also.

Great Product. I got deep bronze and it made me look golden in my spring photos and lasted a few days. I suggest that you go for light bronze if you're super pale to start so that you don't look orangey. I didn't experience being orange, but it does have a slight smell, so you'll have to wash your sheets.

I just received this put it on the following day after I put the Jergens firming glow medium to deep lotion & yes what a beautiful tan it gives as I use the Jergens Instant Sun as a base. Some comments were saying use a glove since it comes out orange 🍊 yes you can I did not buy the glove it did not bother me at all (just wipe it off for pete sake's when your done putting it on & I only use a little since I have the other Jergens on). Anyhow I was pleased with the results my skin is olive tone so I get tanned fast when I am outside also this product & the Jergens firming glow medium to deep is both winners in my book ypu won't regret it.🙂

As I feared with any/all "turns darker by next day" lotions, this one slowly turns you orange, much like the 1960s "QT" but not as radical. So many here are calling it a natural tan; I've never turned orange lying in the sun.It's not an awful product, by any means. It smells good, looks okay after applying. But the next day, you'll see a nice, even, jaundiced look emerging. I stopped after two days; Lord knows what a week of using this stuff would have done.After decades of these products, one thing is for sure: they just can't get the color right.

This product does just what its supposed to do! It absorbs well and makes skin look a couple shades darker, warmer and like an authentic sun tan. Its not overly dark like the bottle, its just right for someone who doesn't have the time to get outside in the sun often enough. I like it and use it often.

I was doubtful since it is cheaper bronzer but this stuff works so well. I first put some thin consistency plain lotion all over my legs, knees, ankles, etc. as a base. Then applied the bronzer and it worked great. Used disposable latex gloves to apply and checked for any lines which I blended out. I don't have any awkward blotches or blobs on my legs and the color is a definite shade darker. Going to apply one more layer tomorrow to deepen it up. Smell is pretty light and not bothersome. You have to wait a few minutes after application before redressing. The lotion application beforehand is the key to a smooth result, in addition to exfoliating in the shower earlier in the day.
