I read this little book slowly to savor what Kimmerer has to say. I really enjoy all of her books and looking forward to some more.Her book on the Service Berry is a gem as well.

This is excerpted from Braiding Sweetgrass. I love RWK’s writings but don’t be fooled - as I was - into thinking it’s a new book or essay by her. I’ll keep it as it was inexpensive.

I'm giving one star as the description does not tell you that this is only an excerpt from the very gorgeous book Braiding Sweetgrass which is 5 star. Just buy Braiding Sweetgrass and be in longing with the rest of us for an emergent new book from this woman deeply entwined and inviting us to be entwined - in the miraculousness of an Animate Sentient Earth.
