As others have noted,it is heavy and somewhat combersome. However it works 2X as good as any other I have used!

No more grocery store Rug Doctors for me. Maybe it’s that the machine is mine, all mine, and nobody else has broken it or left it filthy, or maybe it really does work better than any other machine I’ve ever used. Though I can’t say that carpet cleaning is my favourite chore ever, seeing awesome results after using this machine is pretty satisfying. Note that heavily soiled areas benefit a lot from pretreatment and might also need several passes with new clean water and cleaning solution to get results. I also noticed that the surface of the carpet in those extra-dirty areas tend to look clean long before the water runs clean. I’ve used it on the living room, hall, and three bedrooms, and it was working just as well at the end as at the beginning. Hopefully, that’ll still be true by the end of the 5-year warranty. I think it’s important to rinse the parts well, and check that the brushes are clean and run freely, and then all should be well. I also leave the pieces open to dry completely before storing the machine.
