Very nice light
Put one in a cabinet and another in a mini fridge, wow do they work great. As others have stated, they are very bright, the sensor works very well and it shuts off after 15 seconds of no motion. Doesn't turn on if it is already bright enough in the area. No issues with the one in the cold fridge.

Almost perfect
I have this one area in my kitchen that is extremely dark even at noon because of the angle of the cabinets. I bought this item to provide light in this particular area instead of the small flashlight that I had been using. I really like the motion detector aspect of the light. It readily responds to motion in this part of the kitchen and stays on the right amount of time which is usually filling the electric tea kettle to make my tea. The only negative I find about this particular product is that the cord to recharge the light is too short if I were to install it under the cabinet. Instead I placed it on the wall near the existing outlet so when it is time to charge the unit, I can plug in the USB adapter to support the charging cord.

Great replacement light
I've had similar battery operated lights in closets for a long time. They worked well but required` relatively frequent battery changes, I saw these and the size was the same as what we had. They fit the magnetic strips perfectly. Not only that, but they are very bright and for the cost well worth it. The initial charge was quick.

They don't stick
These lights were nice & bright and the motion detection worked great, BUT the sticky magnet that held them up under the cabinet wasn't sticky enough & they kept falling. Returning.

Motion light
I purchased the 2 pack battery operated lights. They work weli and are bright enough for use under my kitchen cabinets. At first I thought they weren't working properly. But, after closing the battery compartment, I touched the lid slightly, which I think puts the lid in alignment with the batteries, allowing them to work fine. The adhesive one the 1 side is strong and the magnet holding the light is strong, as well.

Wrong description, and overpriced, for what it is.
The light is flickering, both of them do from the two item set I bought. There's no controls of any kind, like on/off, or motion activated only, or always on in the dark. The unit is a simple "always on (meaning watching for motion, with light off), motion activated in the dark". There's no other modes."Two ways to install": The light itself is not magnetic, it just has metal back. It comes with a magnetic strip that has a sticky tape attached to one side. Because of the thickness of that tape, that side of the magnetic strip is not magnetic enough to just cling to metal surfaces. So you can't just magnetically stick the strip to the light and then magnetically stick the whole thing to a metal surface. The two installation methods:1. This can be installed to any surface (steel or others): use the sticky side of the magnetic strip to permanently stick the strip to your cabinet, then you magnetically stick the light to the strip.2. Metal surfaces only, the location will be flexible: If you stick the sticky side of the strip to the light itself, and then use the magnetic side of the strip to stick the whole thing to magnetic surfaces. And no, the sticky side is not "3M", that's also false advertising. The cap on the PIR motion sensor falls off on both units, no glue is used. This should be sold for three dollars a piece.

Perfect for what I needed it for
I put this motion light strip between my screen door and exterior front door. The porch light never seemed to shine light in the right spot to see the key/lock but having this overhead shines exactly where I need it to. No more fumbling with keys to get in the house at night. Think the 2nd one in the pack will end up in the shed ... never enough light in there either. Definitely worth it, just don't forget to pick up AAA batteries
