A reliable well built power supply
EVGA power supplies are very reliable. Personally, I have never had one fail. I have used EVGA power supplies for over 10 years of Desktop building. The power supply is an excellent value with power, yet very reasonable cost. There are cheaper power supplies but if you look at the ratings, they are not rated high. EVGA power supplies are highly rated and my experience justifies my review and opinion. The family comes in many wattage ratings to suit the system and performance you want to achieve. I highly recommend this power supply and is a high quality product.

Great PSU
its a great budget PSU, I'm using a 1080ti and a 5800X3D and its a never had a issue, granted I'm not pulling anywhere close to its max but still. It comes with nice black cables no nasty ketchup and mustard colored. The plugs have handled my abuse they've been pulled and put back in over half a dozen times now on two different rigs.

Good Power Supply, a bit loud.
This PSU, compared to the cheap piece of junk it replaced is very good. It seems to be built with quality parts. I have 3 different EVGA Power Supplies of different qualities. This is the lowest of the 3. My 600W 80+ bronze that I use in my main gaming PC is whisper quiet. It is quite heavy, with many heat sinks inside and, 2 years in, has never given me a problem. My 600W 80+ rated I have in a retro box is by far the loudest component in the system, but it isn't obnoxious. It also is heavy with many heatsinks inside the PSU. It also gives my no problems. This PSU is for my wife's PC. It runs a stock FX 6300 Heatsink and Fan, A cheap 80mm Antec exhaust Fan, A dual Fan R9 280X. This PSU is by far the loudest component. It just drones on at a constant Fan speed whether idling or gaming. It works though and is quite heavy with many heat sinks. I bought this knowing that it wasn't EVGA's top of the line. It was worth the $25 I paid for it. Would I buy this if I was concerned about making a high end silent gaming PC? No. Would I buy it for a cheap office/gaming PC where every dollar counts? Yes! It's built well with some obvious cost cutting done to meet a price point. EVGA will also give you an addition 2 yrs. warranty with registration which is a nice bonus and shows that they stand behind there product.

Slight coil whine but nothing to worry about really!
After half a year it had notable (not loud) sounds caused by coil whine, but I've learned this is something common among PSU units. Besides that, dang, all has been flawless, 2 years have passed already since I built my own PC and used this product, installation was easy, screwing the object in the case was also cozy, but this quite depends of the specific case you're deciding to pick for your PC, so have in mind to choose a good one, and mind the position of the PSU in the case too, as well as the position of how your PSU will be placed, whether upside down or not.

runs fantastic, I have more stable voltages than I did ...
For those who may be thinking about buying this you need to be aware of a few things. First: I can confirm this PSU does get loud during times of high load. Id rather have a loud fan than a dead PSU. It's not modular, so you get stuck with whatever cables you don't use. And, it's overbuilt for the price. Hasn't burnt out, runs fantastic, I have more stable voltages than I did with anything else in this price point, and it's not a fire hazard.

Mine has a terrible buzzing sound coming from it. I'll be returning it EDIT: I reordered the same one because all the reviews said it was a quiet psu. The replacement i got is in fact almost silent, great customer service on Amazon's part, and a great power supply for a great price **Update** It hasn't been a year and this thing is awful. Anytime I'm gaming it makes a horrible rattling noise that can be stopped by pressing your hand on the psu case. It sounds like it wants to rattle apart. Also games have started crashing agyer an hour of playing, and all signs point to faulty power supply. No wonder this thing has an f tier rating on most psu lists.

the 4 stars is for the fact it works, the length of the cables fit nicely in my mid-tower case and the mesh covering the cables. i was especially wary of the lenth of the cpu power cables, since it is a bottom mounted psu case. this was a good fit. however, an inch more wiggle room would've been preferred. the system booted and works. therefore, i am please with this buy thus far. How long it will last, well, time will tell.

Work well, still in use after 5 years and did not have any issues whatsoever even after a few power outages.

Top of the line on reliability. Buying one 4 years later just for good practice. Holds up nicely , can testify to it's test of time.
