BALDR Weather Station Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Digital Color LCD Moon Phase Barometric Pressure Temperature Humidity Monitor

This weather station has an easy to read screen for about 10-12 foot distance (for my senior eyesight), and is easily visible from an angle. It was fairly easy to program by following the instructions. It seems to be very accurate, as I compared one that I have had for a while and this one is more accurate. I have the remote sensor located about 150-170 feet from my house and it stays connected. It has a small battery that comes with that restores your settings if the power goes out, which is a nice feature. I feel this weather station provides good value for the money.

This unit replaces a similar unit from manufacturer BALDR that we had for about 4 years. The outside sending unit failed on that one. We were unable to get a replacement ( I think the model was discontinued), so we got this unit as a replacement and we actually like it better. More readable and adjustable display and a bit more information including the barometric pressure trend chart. Also in certain areas it connects periodically to, I believe, a satellite readout that keeps the time very accurate. Anyway it seems to be a good solid unit that's easy to set up. We would buy it again for gift or another location.

I really like the display. It’s easy to read, colorful, and informative. My only complaint is that the indoor humidity reading is WAY lower than it should be. It says its 3 or 4% which is crazy. My manual humidity measuring device shows it as 35%, which is much more realistic considering I have a humidifier on my furnace. I returned and replaced the first one I got and the new one was no better. So beware, the indoor humidity sensor does not work properly on these. Other than that though, I really like it.

We love it and even the kids do. It’s easy to read, bright and colorful and includes a good bit of information. The outside unit is easy to put up and is not big at all. We plan on enjoying it for a long time.

I had read that a few of these units have some real accuracy issues, especially with the relative humidity. I guess I'm lucky because mine matches to within 5% of a calibrated unit I have access to. The Barometer is also right on the spot. When I corrected for my elevation above sea level, it matched the local Accuweather Barometer exactly. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The weather station worked well initially, we purchased extra sensors which were a little tricky to connect to the main unit. After 9 months the LCD lines that form the numbers on the display stopped working. It was no longer possible to read the temperatures. Very disappointing, very poor quality. Would not recommend.

It was just slightly difficult to set up but works like a charm! Just what I needed to track the moon phases and humidity levels.

This has to be one of the most inclusive weather stations as far as information included and also the easiest to set up. Instructions were easy to decipher and I had the station set up and working in less than 15 minutes - which includes putting the batteries into the sensor and finding an outlet into which to plug the station. The station can be customized as far as display brightness, and with the array of information it gives, I keep it bright so I can read it from across the room regardless of the level of light in the room. This was a great purchase.
