They do not work as intended
Great idea, I have been using them for almost 2 years, but these lids do not vent the gases during lacto fermentation, you still have to burp them.

Does the job and easy to use.
Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for “leakproof” is I didn’t leave enough headspace in my jar and it bubbled up through the vent hole….my fault really!

Great idea, bad product
1 - the valve leaks and air goes in the jar 2 - it’s easy to dislodge the tiny metal ball inside the valve while you are cleaning the lid. Tiny ball disappears into your sink and the thing now is worthless. So not a durable product.
