I found this prime specimens of a rare honeycomb fossil in Lake Michigan. It has fine detail and I top drilled a 2.1 mm hole to fit the stainless steel jump ring to dangle from the bottom of a high quality stainless steel flat rod connector from a 30 inch ball chain. Accompanying the themed necklace is a high quality enamel bumblebee charm (that even has a cute little smile on his face) with two coordinating color glass beads that are made from recycled glass. The stone measures almost 1 inch. The fossil is natural as-found and simply rubbed with oil to bring out its markings which you can do also.
