I would rate this hammock 4 stars instead of 5, primarily due to the straps it comes with. Although they do work, installing them can be labor-intensive, especially when dealing with varying tree trunk sizes. To enhance the overall hammock experience, I highly recommend purchasing separate straps that are easier to use and adjust.I've owned this hammock since 2017, and it has proven to be a reliable and long-lasting companion. Apart from the strap issue, I have encountered no other problems. One standout feature is the convenient side pocket, which offers a perfect spot to store essentials such as keys, phone, water, or headphones while enjoying a good read. Additionally, the hammock conveniently compresses into a small pouch, making transportation a breeze.I genuinely love this hammock, from its design to its color. Despite the minor inconvenience of the straps, its durability, practical features, and attractive aesthetics make it a worthwhile investment. Whether for leisurely relaxation or on-the-go adventures, this hammock continues to impress.

This hammock is awesome. I’ve had it for 5 months now. Use it all the time. Its very light, like a few pounds, probably not even that. It fits into the softball sized pouch, maybe a little bigger. And I just clip it onto my backpack or something; it’s very easy and convenient. The material is very thin, durable; it dries fast, its light, and keeps you cool. I’m surprised. It’s very strong under tension even if you pushed on the hammock with a one finger with 100+ pounds it would be fine. I’ve stood in it and it takes it. Its scraped the ground allot with the kids swinging on it and it hasn’t torn. Its fast and easy to set up, takes a few minutes. Just wrap it around a tree or pole. I just thread it through the strap loop then anchor the hammock to anyplace on the rope like the instructions say. I love how you can set it up between different distances of anchor points; you’re not limited to a set distance. I’ve camped in this thing also. Since its thin you can feel the wind through it too, sometimes it’s bad if you’re trying to keep warm or good if your hot. I’ve put it in the washer machine many times and it cleans it up, then in the dryer. Both on the hottest setting and it’s been fine. I do have some stains on it that apparently didn’t come off. I haven’t really looked at it yet but I’m not really worried about it. There about quarter size, maybe if I wash it more or something it’ll come off I guess. Mine had little pin holes. Just a hand full throughout the hammock, it was a manufacture defect, so I contacted the seller honest outfitters and they gave me a refund. Thanks for that by the way. Maybe next time I’ll get a two person. Because sometimes I’ll make it cover over me and I’ll be in a cocoon, it’s just enough material to do it with. Sometimes I wish it was more. The bag it goes in fits everything. The hammock and straps and carabineers. It’s all connected together except the straps. If the sun shines through it you can see through the hammock a bit, but it’s neat how durable it is when it’s so thin and light. It has a smooth and silky feel to it. Very comfortable. I think I covered mostly everything. I like it.

I have used this hammock for two different multi-night dispersed camping trips.Pros: It's lightweight, convenient, quick to setup and I slept much better in the hammock than I have in my tent in the past. The stitching, fabric and attachment points appear to be durable enough to withstand the intended use. I am on the shorter side and slightly overweight and I didn't have any issues with space. If you're taller than 6'0" or a little on the heavier side, you may want to look for something bigger.Cons: The straps that you use to attach the hammock are not ideal. I have friends who have hammock straps with multiple attachment points. These do not. You can rarely get them the right length by simply wrapping them around the tree multiple times. Trees have various diameters. Instead you can use a slipknot at any point as necessary as if you were tying a trucker's hitch, rather than running the strap through the sewn end loops. The hammock came with instructions that show how to do this. If you tie the knot in the wrong direction, it is very difficult to untie.The only other con is that all of the color options are very bright. I would rather have subdued colors like coyote brown or olive. I don't necessarily want other people to come snooping around my camp because they saw a bright color off in the distance. I purchased it anyway because of the price. I plan to use a camouflage "woobie' poncho liner as a light underquilt to help cover up some of the bright blue.

This is my 2nd hammock from honest outfitters, the first one is still going strong! I love the upgraded straps on this one - no need to tie knots, just put the carabiner in the proper loop/daisy chain and you’re good to go!

Easy set up love this hammock it does not hug me like others of its size . Good price considering it comes with some very long tree straps .
