Is this cedar pressure treated? Also how high is this bed- only width and length are given.

It is not pressure treated. It is 10 inches high. I've had mine since March and it's showing no sign of deterioration. I love it. I'm going to buy more.

Does it just sit on he ground or do posts get buried in the ground

It sits on the ground. The pets as well. The post come higher than the case

How much dirt is needed?

The amount you need is about 2 feet x 10 inches x 8 ft or roughly 16 cubic feet. The dirt will settle over time.
