Very appropriate for our kitchen cabinet. Easy to put together
We love how easy this door vertical lift makes opening and closing the cabinet door, it's pretty effortless. We didn't want a have the microwave on the counter and this allowed us to keep it at a nice height for daily use and our of sight when not in use. I recomend using something to align the gas struts, as it's hard to put them in place. I used a nail setter, to help with this, and that made the difference. Instructions could be better, but it works great!

Solid and functional BUT THE DIRECTIONS!!!!
I purchased the GYKLE lift-up door hinge for a countertop appliance garage. I had to modify the width to accommodate my dimensions, but that was easy enough and known at the time of ordering. Depending on your application, if you are not particularly handy, you may want to enlist some help that is! In addition to having to cut/drill/tap the stabilizing rods, I had to fabricate some quick spacers so the mounting brackets had something other than a single screw in the cabinet frame to support them. It functions well for me, albeit a little too "strong" for my light door. The video shows it mostly in action (no pull/handle yet). It definitely closes effectively! Please note, as also seen in the video, it does not provide a zero-clearance opening since the overall height the door finishes when open is bound by the range of the hinge. If you need more than 16" of vertical clearance, find another solution. The major reason I knocked off a star is due to the abysmal directions! Although the system is relatively intuitive if you're somewhat mechanically inclined, they are USELESS and actually kind of funny to read if not- VERY obviously crafted by non-English speaker/s. The illustrations are also useless. I honestly think you'll be less confused if you throw them away and work through the puzzle with just your brain! There are also some decent YouTube tutorials that might help if you need it. Good luck.

Absolute hell to install and is garbage
First of all, I am a very handy and capable person. This should have been no more than one hour to install, maybe two hours if you have to retrofit your cabinet like I had to. Instead, this took me FIVE hours to install. It ate up my entire afternoon because you’re fighting with it the whole way, trying to overcome poor fabrication and absolute no quality control. Like many complained, the instructions are garbage. If not for the photos from other buyers this would be impossible to even attempt. The person who shared the photo with instructions on the photo is my hero. And, like others also warned, the manufacturing to go with the gas struts are way off. I feel so bad for all of us who bought this POS. To make the gas struts work I had to redrill the holes on the gas struts and still man-handle things with a hammer to get them into place. This product had me in literal tears. I got out so many ridiculous tools like a coping saw, drills, clamps, hammer (even a chisel!!) to install this thing, my kitchen now looks like my workshop — tool’s everywhere for something that only needed a screw gun at the most. And if that wasn’t bad enough the gas struts are overkill for what they are doing. These little gas struts could easily handle a 100lb door. Why are they being used for KITCHEN cabinets?!?! And you can’t use just one gas strut— I tried. It only works with both installed. And the there is no tension adjust on the gas struts! My husband is a big tall guy and even said he has to use force to close the cabinet. I am S.T.R.U.G.G.L.I.N.G! If your cabinet door is made of iron, concrete, or solid steel, this is the product for you. Anyway, it is installed and I hate it. Am already looking for a better product so that this can be returned.

Product works exactly how I expected and seller stands by their product
The hinge was working great for a couple months, then one of the gas struts blew out. I contacted the seller (YouChuanHeYin) and they sent me a whole new replacement hinge very quickly. The door works great again! FYI, I compressed the gas strut the required 1/4 inch by placing a small phillips head screw driver through the open and of the piston and the screw hole on the bracket and pried it in.

Product works but instructions are way too pathetic.
You cannot figure out which end goes where for the product. or how it assembles. Given one piece of paper with poor drawings, pathetic instructions and language makes it even more tough to figure it out.

Elevated the use of our counter top cabinet
Original hinges that came with our cabinet only allowed for about a quarter range of motion. Got this as a solution and it's my favorite part of the kitchen now. The directions are pretty well worth less and the hydraulics will take some effort to set up but it works great when installed. For my application I had to liquid nail and fasten 1 bys where the hardware attaches to keep it flush with the opening

Doesn’t work
The gas struts that attach this to allow it to stay open in the up position does not compress. I couldn’t get them to budge meaning I couldn’t get the holes to align. Even if we did we wouldn’t be able to close it since it is stuck in the open, extended position. I read others reviews that got it to work but they had special equipment (clamps, etc.) to get it to compress which I don’t have. The directions are poorly translated and don’t have any troubleshooting FAQs. When contacting the seller they said to refer to the instructions! I wouldn’t bother purchasing this item.

LOS PISTONES TIENEN DEMASIADA FUERZA, YO LOS INSTALE EN UNA PUERTA DE 60 DE LARGO POR 50 DE ALTO. FACILMENTE PUEDEN CON UNA PUERTA DEL DOBLE DE PESO

Built a kitchen island and my wife wanted a "heavy appliance garage shelf". After some research I found that a garage shelf utilized this type of hardware. I ordered the product, took 2 attempts to install it properly, as well as several small adjustments but the end product works well and looks great.
