I first encountered these soaps at a sea salt spa in my area. I fell instantly in love with the scent and purchased two at a ridiculous price. I looked them up on Amazon and got a much better price, though still a lot for a bar of soap. I am willing to pay it however. The scent is lovely, it leaves my skin clean and moist without feeling 'filmy'. As an experiment, I've even used it in my hair and it left it soft, scented and shiny! I was very surprised at that revelation. I give this product a 5-star rating for scent and giftability and a 3-star for value for the money because it only lasts maybe a month or so before it is too small to use - and that's with only one person using it (hubby isn't interested in smelling lemony-fresh after a shower)! The price is still not going to deter me from buying it in the future.
