Good leather strap to mend other items

For more rustic work, it's excellent because it's a bit rough. For those who want something smoother and cleaner, it won't be a good choice. But I really liked it.

This strap seems well made and finished, with a fairly uniform thickness and dye. I did find two spices in the entire length, but they were well done and almost invisible without close inspection. Mine came rolled up "backwards", with the rough side out, and this gave the finished smooth side a slightly odd, almost wrinkled look (caused by the finished leather surface being compressed from the inside of the curve roll). But I expect that to disappear with time.

The lashing is more like suede and not finished well. When you try to cinch it down, it will break as often as not. For the price, I expected better quality. I do not recommend.

Defective item, not fully as described. Item has been glued together in several areas. So unless you only need certain lengths, this won't work. Description states not fractured yet it is and falls apart when used at the spots where it's glued. I tried to use it, cut the length that I needed and didn't understand what happened. Then I looked at the rest of the roll and found several glued together spots. Found an extremely thin spot as well and the width is not 10mm, it's 9.3mm apparently.
