Needed to replace our aging strands of failing lights and ran across this item. Read the reviews, and the one from the lady that said when they first got these they were thinking oh no! and I had the same thought, but I can second her review - these work great! Small, but mighty. Unlike an LED strip, there are actual bulb forms that if you have an ornament that needs a light inserted these will work perfectly. The wiring is clear, initially we thought that might be an issue however once on the tree it's like having icicles all over and they reflect the light and really add to the effect. The remote works well, however it IS SHORT RANGED, you will need to be closer to the receiver plug but that is the ONLY downside if even that. Having the option to change so many patterns with one light set, the reel made stringing the tree SO much easier. Never going back to multiple strands, hoping this kit works for many years to come.

We decided to replace the traditional/incandescent lights on the Christmas tree, because the LED lights have a brighter light, but more importantly, because the LED lights are safer and I hope the lifespan/failure rate will be lower as well. The traditional/incandescent lights run on 110v; while the LED lights on 5V, which significantly reduces the risk of sparks and fires. We are very happy with this set. It seems very well made, has 8 different modes, and a dimmer switch that can be operated from the remote.

You must be gentle when installing them as the wire is thin. But once they are up and displayed they look nice and they are an inexpensive alternative to buying other lights. I recommend. Also be sure not to just pull the strand off when taking them down or you will damage them.

Really like these lights. It is true in that one string covered our entire tree! Made it super easy. And the wheel they come with is so cool and will make storage after Christmas, super easy. But the bonus (which I find absolutely hilarious) is when we turn up sound (bar) on the TV, the light mode changes! Just up, not down. It is my conversation piece!!!

We bought three 1000 light strands and were very happy with the look when we got them strung on three tall pines in our yard yesterday. They were fully lit at that point, however, this morning when we turned the lights on, a portion at the very top on one of the trees is not working. Luckily, the remainder of the lights are on, but we sprung for the led expecting better longevity so one day of full lighting is obviously disappointing. The trees are about 12 feet tall so I can’t imagine taking the lights down now to deal with a return. It is the middle tree of a cluster so this odd unlit top portion stands out. I could not see how/where to contact the seller to deal with this outside of the review section so I’m hoping perhaps the seller will remedy this problem. It certainly seems that many buyers have had better luck with these lights. They are good looking, easy to unravel and shipped very fast, all of which are clearly positive.

Very beautiful warm light (more like incandescent bulbs). Wire is soft and easy to work with. Comes with remote control for modes, dimmer, and timer. I like it so much I ordered two more reels.

cute little lights with different modes and a remote control. The plug isn’t water proof just the lights so make sure u cover it up with something if it can get wet.

They worked great the first year. I noticed rusting on the bulb contacts last year, but didn't think much of it, since they still worked. I plugged them in this year, they worked for about 20 minutes, then completely stopped working. Nice bright colors, but I would not recommend using outdoors.

I bought the 600 light strand for our Christmas tree, it was plenty of lights. Probably too many as I wound up using them across our garland as well. Love the dimmer option to have the lights a little softer. Nice warm white colour. And also love having a remote for on/off/timer and not having to unplug. The other light patterns are a little jarring (alternating, strobe…), but I prefer to leave them on solid anyways. They are easier to string up than traditional lights as the cord is very light and flexible. Only downside is the see-through cord is actually quite visible when used for a Christmas tree, almost looking like a cobweb over the tree. A darker green would have blended better so if you are using these for your Christmas tree keep that in mind, but they are more aesthetically pleasing for year round decorating.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful packaging and works, when I first plugged them in I was confused as it looked like the wrong colour. Didn’t look warm white at all, once I hung them up it was obviously warm white. So weird how the tone changed 😳I have 2 sets of 600 and it’s filled my apartment suite, both came with remotes and so far so good. I’ll update if there’s any changes

Great for Diwali light show in Canada soft and 8 plus settings . Very bueatiful

It is a lot of lights for a good price. They are bright enough for the job, but as per the title the wire and fixtures for each bulb is a silvery white and it looks horrible on a green tree, especially as the little lights brighten it up so it can't even blend into the decorations. Not blaming the company here as everything was as advertised, but I thought it would hep others to make note of it.

We installed them on our stair ramp, looks great.
