Average material at best. It is actually outdated, since IBO has implemented a new give from May 2025 onwards. Besides that, it is way to shallow addressing several topics.

After teaching biology for 15 years, I am always looking for great review tools to use with my students. This book give a wonderful review and refresher on concepts covered in IB Biology. It has wonderful illustrations and great practice test questions. It also provides explanations for the Practice Questions which is critical to helping students understand their mistakes and improve their performance on tests. The practice test at the end of the book is also a great resource and will help students evaluate their knowledge and identify any areas of weakness. Highly Recommend. Jennifer Singh

The information is there, but my teen found it frustrating that this wasn't up to the way that the current IB Bio exam is organized. She said a re-org had led to some changes not reflected in the text.

I liked the book because it had good content and walked through the material in a meaningful way.

I am a May 2023 IB HL Biology candidate. The study guide is extremely useful for me as a current IB HL Biology student and help me understand every topic better, I have to admit it really is hard to keep up with notes from my biology lecture so this book really helps me to understand better in biology but also to test myself and expose myself to more practice questions.
