The Perfect Teapot for two, is also perfect for one. The teapot with its protective bamboo coaster makes it much easier to drink and enjoy tea. The teapot holds up nicely against hot water and did not crack – thank god. The teapot holds about 3 cup (regular sized mug) of Tea. This enables you hang out on the couch or work away at your laptop, with your tea right by your side. Plus the elements of bamboo, water and tea, makes drinking tea more elegant.From the teapot, lid, coaster, infuser and box, everything is quality and worth it. The box it arrived in is gorgeous. I was sad, when I spilled water on it, but now it sits on my shelf and adds to the decoration in the room. Just right! 800 ml size is perfect for making a couple of good sized cups although I was worried it might be a bit small (I typically heat closer to1000ml). Lovely shape, nice sized handle (but I do have small hands.) Great mesh filter: nice and deep w/ plenty of room. Bamboo coaster is attractive & really handy too. I am going to be very careful with it because the glass is not super heavy; seems a bit more fragile than the labware beaker I'd been using. With such nice packaging, this would be an all round superb gift for a tea drinker.

Absolutely love this tea pot! I bought it for a friends birthday because she always heats her tea water in the microwave, yuck! This is simple to use and it's designe is zen, simple and beautiful. She loved it and commented on how adorably it's packaged. I love that it's clear and you can see what your teas change the water color and it's perfect for "flowering" tea. I highly recommend this, especially for a gift, it's money well spent. The size is perfect for 1 or 2 to share. I showed a picture with my regular size mug for comparison.

Excellent for people who like quality tea. Tea bags impart a flavor to the tea. The infuser of this pot allows you to enjoy the flavor of the tea. The pot is a little smaller than I expected, but is adequate. Very attractive looking.

This is a great teapot if you want the kind of slow-it-down zen-ish experience of your tea. It has grown on me over time to the point that when I accidentally broke the lid I went back to Everything Zen to get it replaced. For one thing, you can see the tea as it steeps. For another, it just feels hand-crafted. They've got a nice balance of solidity with lightness, so the whole thing is kind of graceful. It's not as tough as your basic ceramic everyday teapot, but if you are into the whole brewing-is-part of the experience aspect, this is a really fine pot for that.Also the Everything Zen people are great -- incredibly responsive.

Perfect size. Love it!! Easy to clean. Can use in microwave to heat the water if you want. Love the cute bamboo trivet. Can have the lid on without the basket. Pours well. Perfect size for one or four people. I researched many and I made the right choice!

First, the positive: This is an absolutely beautiful teapot. It reminds me of a work of art. It comes packed in a gorgeous box and makes a beautiful gift item. It keeps heat very well. The infuser is perfectly designed so that after pouring your first cup of tea, it sits right above the tea still in the pot so there is no over-steeping--just a great example of engineering and design.But now the bad: the top is very loose fitting. Everytime you pour, it's a two handed operation, one hand holding the handle and one hand on the top. A couple of times, I have absentmindedly poured without holding the top down with near disastrous consequences. At the cost of this small little two-cup pot, I don't want to ruin it by breaking the top. I hope their fabulous designers will soon engineer a more stable top.August, 2017--After seven months of use, we were washing it and it just crumbled around the top edge. I have used it every day since receiving it for Christmas and I will miss it, but I can no longer recommend this pot. It should last longer than seven months!Surprise, surprise. Six months after posting my first review update reporting the crumbling edge to the pot, I received a box containing a handwritten apology, a new teapot and a $10 Amazon gift certificate. I had not asked for any compensation since I had used my original pot for seven months and continue to use the bamboo coaster. What a nice example of fine customer service! I have already replaced my original pot with one from another manufacturer, but I will use this new one for a fundraiser gift basket for my service club, Soroptimist International. I think it will be fine for someone who is an occasional tea drinker. So....I am raising my rating to three stars bbased on superb customer service.

The teapot feels strong. The glass is much thicker than other teapots I’ve had. I also really like the bamboo coaster that came with it. My wife and I celebrate when we don't get a letter from the school for a week, we crack open some bubbles and enjoy the moment, the rest of the time we drown our sorrows with the vino! At the end of a tough year for the head of boarding we wanted to send him a present/bribe/gift/peace offering and as we know that he is a fanatical tea drinker we thought that a special teapot would be perfect.Digging through too many teapots on Amazon we kept coming back to this one, whether it was the images (particularly the moody kitchen one - oh la la), or the description, there was something about this one that felt right. This was an important gift and we wanted to get it right and so we had it delivered to us first to check it out. I'm always nervous buying glass objects online and so when it arrived I shook the box and smiled when all was quiet:)Opening the Amazon box I was delighted with what I saw, a good sized and quality looking teapot box, opening it was tough but a really good tough as they had really invested is some serious package design and had stolen a page from Apple in designing a snug, oh so snug, box lid ... sliding it off was a delight (I've done it several times since). The fastest I've managed to slide it off is 6 seconds ... The packaging had set an expectation of quality and I was not disappointed when I unpacked the teapot. A beautiful bamboo teapot coaster, the glass teapot and lid, expertly packed for shipping, and a nice surprise containing a motivational message ... Oh and did I mention that the inside of the box also has an amazing design on it?So what of the Boarding head, well he isn't getting this teapot is he ... ditching our heavy and old fashioned Le Creuset I immediately prepared a brew with some fine leaves that I had been given for my 40th last year and watched intently as the brew took shape. A perfect brew, an excellent pour (the pour has to be perfect doesn't it?) and a top up that had retained a good temperature ... The wife reports that the dishwasher and teapot got on well ... and we've even tried it with some teabags with great success.So our next purchase will make its way to the boarding school, well tested, and confident that after this gift only arson will get the daughter expelled next year:)The teapot is on display and in regular use and I stole the box away to my office ...An excellent product, as you've probably realised by now, a brilliant gift and extremely well priced ... let's hope they turn their skills and design minds towards something coffee related next ... watching the space.

Habe schon einige Teekannen mit Sieb ausprobiert, aber die gefällt mir echt am besten. Ist nicht sehr schwer, wobei das Glas absolut hochwertig und sehr stabil wirkt, der Sieb ist äußerst groß und mit 800ml perfekt für einen oder zwei. Den Untersetzer finde ich auch sehr cool :)Den Deckel muss man aber festhalten. Sonst lässt sich der Tee aber super sauber ausgießen und portionieren.Übrigens, die Verpackung ist schön groß und dezent - lässt sich bestimmt auch gut als Geschenk einsetzen.Gefällt mir!

Emballé dans une jolie boîte qui peut être offerte. Jolie théière qui contient 2 mugs environ. Un peu surprise par sa légèreté et la finesse du verre. On verra s'il ne casse pas au bout de quelques vaisselles.
